Nelson can be a polarizing hop to some. Do you generally dislike beers with Nelson Sauvin hops?

Is it really the minority? Looks like they rate pretty closely.

EDIT: Just reread this, and realize it could come off as dickish. Wasn't my intention; demonstrating genuine interest as to if this was local consensus.

I've really enjoyed everything I've had on tap around town recently from Alpine....and in fact, much more so than the (fresh) bottles I had a couple years ago or so...so I'm all about the Green Flash takeover, apparently...and that is likely a minority opinion :stuck_out_tongue:

To be honest, I haven't had many single hop Nelson beers so it's hard to say. I had the BG nelson pale and it was my least favorite of the series so far (haven't had the amarillo yet but I'm expecting to love that one) but I certainly didn't dislike it.

Disney would be the last place in the world I'd expect to have craft beer...??

Yeah, I guess there aren't a ton out there. Some people find Nelson to be catty (like Amarillo or Citra), but I've never had that issue with any of those hops.

Hey guys I know none of you were going to come anyway  but unfortunately CBW has no power since 6:30am and can't open until they fix the fallen transformer and pole in the alley. When I find out when we reopen I will post or please check facebook for any news.

When we do open up, we have some fun stuff coming on tap over the next couple weeks, a sour imperial stout, sour cherry quad, christmas ale, an imitation czech pils, and a collaboration red saison with round guys.

I'll admit it, i exaggerated a bit about all those smokes and shots. More like 30 and 4.

I'll keep my eyes open for more Duet, the guy i was drinking the Nelson with said this was a better batch than the last one as well.

Sorry for the double post here but has anyone seen OB Death By Coconut this week? Struck out at GE Robinson earlier in the week. Assume it's gone in Shadyside. HO1k is too far from the south hills. Appreciate any tips.

Well there is that tiny detail. The beer is ok but it comes nowhere close to Last Snow (which it is clearly trying to be)

Crowlers coming to Hitchhiker. Want to see more breweries jump on this bandwagon. Good job @jagoffyinzer.

Its not too bad. Epcot actually is cool because they have beers from all the countries that are specific to the country. Had some interesting stuff there.

This is a cool site to check out the beers of Disney http://beersandears.net/wdw-beer-list/

Kind of shocked to see this one only come in at 10.8%, that's low for Avery.
I get most of my Avery stuff online. Pittsburgh gets the shaft with Avery. We didn't even get any Lilikoi Kepolo, I had to get mine in Ohio. I think the higher abv stuff gets distro in philly. I have seen Uncle J and Pump(ky)n in Lancaster in the past.
