I've traveled with a 12-shipper around a dozen times. TSA loves to open them up and inspect them and some of my boxes are basically only held together with TSA tape now. Never had a single problem. Sometimes the airlines employees will make you sign something saying you know you're shipping beer/wine/whatever and that it could break and they aren't responsible. Pack it like you'd pack a box to ship and you'll be just fine. Sometimes I put some bubble wrap around the bottles, but a lot of times I don't as I've forgotten it at home. This includes a trip to Belgium with two boxes in tow and a trip from Portland with three boxes in tow. If you have a couple days before you travel you can look for a carry case that's specifically made for a 12-shipper and costs something like $75. Or you can spend like $20 and get a luggage cart. Will make your life easier carrying the box around. If its just a one-time thing though just stick the box on top of your suitcase and be careful with it.

So much this. I've forgotten tape 2 or 3 times and had to run out and find some.

#VBS. A nice 2013 Dark Horse 3 Pairs of Legs that'd been hiding in my cellar. Very tasty.

Agree with Dave completely. Always fun hanging out with you folk.

and I came home to a surprise box from @PA-Michigander - thanks again Nick. I reached out to him for some help for my 12 days and he sends without even telling me. and he dropped a few extras on me along with a really nice note- much appreciated. I tried to make it up to him with a few carton cans.

i dont think my target checks this thread so I can post it here.

also, for any south jersey, Philly area locals- I am going to be working in a tasting room part time for a local brewery. They are called Tuckahoe Brewing Company. 2 of my friends work there. They are a couple and the female 1/2 of them is the lead brewer and the male 1/2 is the yeast and 'sour/wild' program guy. I brought Marigolden (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/28208/180587/) to a share with @LehighAce06 and @Greeny87. They are extremely talented and the brewery moved to about 5 minutes from my office so I figured I would get paid instead of paying to hangout there. If anyone is ever in the Atlantic City area or coming this way to go to the beaches this summer- stop by.

I know of them, but haven't gotten to the tasting room. Yet...

It's on the short list, though.

First and foremost, I apologize to anyone getting this beer. I actually got it for a reason (hint) and drank a can of it AFTER sending it to four others. The beer is shite. Pure rubbish. Less than a month old, but was flat, stale and cardboard flavored. Just ask @RuckIt

    ISO?!

wait... the crowler is terrible? I am not following your ramblings sir.

and I have one bottle left of it- would love to open it with some people soon. they only had 173 bottles so your ISO may be fruitless.

No, Adams Stout from Liquid Hero.

No, sorry, the Adams Stout is liquid garbage. But it'll be a new tick so yay?! ISO anything from them, love new local breweries. Luckily I've got so much FUKING beer I don't need any for another 6-7 months.

I thought that came from @Mipper, right Nick?

No worries on the LH - the rest of your box more than made up for the shortcomings of a single can!
