I dont see many over here in northern Jersey and I really love the style. More so than Gose. So where they at?

Athena from Creature Comforts is top notch. No distro in NJ though. Worth a trade.

Bell's Oarsman is a year-round offering in 12-oz bottles, although I think it's a bit mild for the style. Bell's doesn't distribute to NJ, but if your're close to NY, PA or MD (Montgomery County) you can get it there. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/287/49092/

White Birch Brewing out of NH seems to be reviving this respected, but certainly non-trendy style. I just tried a can of their Raspberry purée Beliner Weiss, and it was solid. Looking forward to trying the can of Blueberry I bought also.

Not really - the last large, commercial version left is apparently Berliner Kindl Weisse - and it had a 0.3% Market Share in Berlin (2010). Although a number of new, smaller "craft" breweries in the city are apparently reviving the style.

And, "...it is not a Berliner Weiss..." according to Bell's.

Newburgh Brewery has a fantastic Berliner Weisse called Checkpoint Charlie in their taproom, not super knowledgable about the style but i enjoy this one.

Agreed. I think Schell's is up there with the best for Berliners right now...and that's not just because New Ulm is my hometown

New Glarus Berliner Weisse is awesome and unique with the white grape addition.

Thanks for the post - it is inspiring me to hop on my bike in the a snow shower and get the latest Berlienr Weiss from Schells. I think you can find decent Berliner Weisses in most areas of the country. Both Bent Brewstillery and Schells are doing some interesting stuff but neither is that widely distributed. The Bruery Hottentoth Berliner Weiss is more widely distributed but is a little spendy. On the other coast, Dogfish Head Festina Peche is decent. Evil Twin Justin Blaeber is not too bad. I don't know if Grand Teton is still making their Snarling Badger - it is a little high in alcohol (7.5%) but is very refreshing. New Belgium comes out with a decent Berliner Weisse every now and then. New Holland's Incorrigible has a decent price and is very refreshing. Off Color Fierce has a decent price is is a very good summer afternoon beer. Three Floyds Deesko is pretty good if you can find it. I think White Birch is under rated and does a fairly good job on their Berlienr Weisses.

To find out if a beer is distributed in your area go here: http://www.seekabrew.com/distro/index.html

Yup. They don't crank them out at quite the clip that De Garde does, but OG SotN and the fruited ones (Cherry, Raspberry, and Peach) are every bit as excellent. Dawn of Aurora, Cypress Blanc, and North Country Brunette were all very interesting takes (or bastardizations, depending on who you ask) on the style, and were all exceptional. Looking forward to getting my hands on Apparent Horizon. Even though I'm not really into rye as far as brewing goes, but I'll still give it a shot with quality of all the other brews in the Noble Star series.

Agreed. I did like the super carbonated/ultra lemony batch they recalled in 2014 slightly more than than this years though. But it is still a great spring/early summer lawn mowing Berliner.

Westbrook has released 'Weisse Weisse Baby' before. Back in October, they released 'Lemon Coconut Weisse Weisse Baby' and yesterday released 'Whiskey Sour Weisse Weisse Baby' in bottles.

Apparent Horizon was quite good in my opinion. I'm intrigued by the next 2 releases. I'm super excited for Tidal Disruption, aged with blackberries. Orbital drift is made with dark malts instead of pale. Like Tart of Darkness maybe??
