Speaking of OTWOA, how are the 12/30 cans?

Curious to know if they got the carbonation issue fixed. Drove 45 minutes one way last time to pick a few packs for my friends and I. Opened a bunch up only to find about 2/3 of them flat. Really sucked.

I've found some inconsistencies with core beers (mostly Corruption), not a carb issue, mostly taste being inconsistent. Never have a problem finding fresh cans, usually a month old or fresher but I don't buy their beers often anymore since they have creeped back up in price to $11/sixer....too many other beers that are quite a bit better for that price.

I've had my share of DC Brau cans including OTWOA, Solar Abyss and the normal distros. Had my first flat can the other day and it was Corruption. It was not even drinkable.

Has anyone else cracked a BCBS - coffee and have it be infected?

The one bottle of BCBCS I was able to snag this year was infected. Purchased at TW Alexandria.

Obviously Costco hasn't been rotating their stock or selling it fast enough, and DC Brau would probably even appreciate you calling/writing to let them know about that problem. Where I work, 14th St. TJ's, you'll almost never find anything older than 6 weeks, and sometimes as little as just a week old.

Curious to know if anyone approached DC Brau about a refund for a sub-par product -AND- even more curious to know how DC Brau handled it.

    Anyone?

I've had problems with the last batch of Solar Abyss (leaking cans) and the 11/13 batch of OTWOA (leaking cans, underfilled/no carb cans/malt bomb after a few days). When I called them, they told me that I could bring in the unopened cans and they would refund my money for each can. Needless to say, with a one hour drive each way to get to the brewery I didn't take them up on the offer.

Got in touch with DC Brau and they said the carbonation issue has been resolved a week ago and assured me there's no flat cans in the latest batch.

I've seen Founders Imperial Stout at both Norm's and Dominion. I'm not sure if they still have any, but they did this weekend.
