Its definitely a solid IPA. What you really need in your life is that Cortado! Holy Jeebus that is amazing!!!

They are really dialed in on their Stouts. Vulgar Display of Power is probably my top rated non BA stout.

Check the Archived links Abide, not really sure why it is there unless it will never be brewed again, my daughter had it at Hughies late last month.

 

They've been outstanding for us. Plus, we know the money being made off of distributing our beer isn't being used to lobby in support of anti-competitive laws that artificially hold back the growth of craft beer in Texas. -- Jeff

One of the best beers I had last year. Definitely the best stout.

 

Sent in an update, and they just fixed that. Now an active/current beer

At the end of the day, a business owner has to act in the best interest of his/her business. Period. I like Flood a lot and I'm thrilled to see their portfolio and market presence grow, but they will never have the sales and marketing power/reach of BEK.

 

I dunno, but I have a feeling his business relationship with Flood is about to get WAY worse.

 

I don't think some people realize how many new breweries are in Texas thanks to Flood.

My guess? The store owner is outside of a normally served area (thinking East Texas) where they get a random shipment every now and then.

Or San Antonio. Since, I know they just hired on a new person for SA and it has been a long time since they were really fully "serviced" down there.

Agreed. Flood is doing great things for TX beer. They won't be the best fit for everyone though.

We've had three sales reps in as many months, but the transitions went pretty smoothly, imo. I've definitely seen worse.
