Not many breweries do, but some have limited items. My wife bought an Angry Chair shirt from their booth back in 2014. I'm pretty sure Mazurt has had shirts the last 2 years too.

 

Depending on the brewery, there will be stickers, shirts, coasters but of course no glassware this year.

 

Was this the case with most of the breweries bringing "rare" stuff? Including CCB? I guess my question, and obviously it's your best guess... but with something like ABMZ, are we talking a quarter barrel? Sixtel?

 

I think the best answer I, or anyone besides a brewer, could give is, "It depends." I felt like you could get barrel-aged "rare" stuff from CCB until the bitter end last year while others had rolled up their tents. Huna Day is like public transportation: If you miss one bus, don't fret. There will be another rolling along shortly.

 

A sixtel goes a long way with 2 Oz pours

 

Several brought shirts, coasters and stickers last year. I bought a 3 Sons tshirt and glass last year. FYI the shirt I bought was pretty high quality worth picking one up.

Yes. There will only be one sixtel of Abmz.

 

A sixtel will provide 330 2 oz pours, assuming a completely full sixtel, no spillage, and precise 2 oz pours. So to be conservative, let's say 300 people. If they do 5 pours per minute (a conservative estimate), the sixtel will kick in an hour. So I'd guess that any special kegs will kick in less than an hour.

 

I would agree, but with multiple special kegs being tapped at the same time to factor in I'd imagine 90 minutes to 2 hours for MOST special kegs (exceptions being ABMZ as it is a timed release)

 

Are there any big bottle shares happening in the area on the 10th, 11th or 12th?

 

The share at Cycles BA Day on the 11th will be the biggest and best of the whole week.

In all seriousness, check this thread; I know some folks had asked there about shares. Also, there traditionally have been tremendous shares at various hotels where folks stay for the event.

 

I'll be at Cycle, I really find it hard to bring any big bottles there when there is so much good stuff on tap.. this is my first year, so I may be approaching this wrong, but I am all for the taps. I can bottle share anywhere. Tell me why I'm wrong about this

I don't think you're approaching it wrong. You have plenty of opportunities to share bottles after the event.

 

You're not wrong. I won't be participating in the share either, just enjoying Cycle's taps.

 

I'll be in the same boat as @BKnarr and going for the Cycle taps. I may bring a random bottle to share but nothing crazy.
