TW Springfield has the Terrapin Single Origin Coffee 4 Pack sampler. Still had two 4 packs left, along with a bunch of single bottles (which I thought was strange as they are all different beers)

Also had Heir Apparent, Bourbon Barrel Barelywine, Uncle Jacobs and Sixpoint HiRes

Is Sucuba not a hot topic this year? I am hearing little to no buzz on it shouldn't it be dropping this week?

The allotments are so small that's probably info you don't share on a message board.

But since I can't make it there now to get any...Schneiders has some right now, better be quick to get it.

Plus, several mentions of Sucaba in the past few pages.

It already hit a couple of TWs, Norm's and Arrowine today, I think Dominion earlier. If you were hoping to find in VA, I wish you luck, but I'm not optimistic for you.

Petite Cellars had pretty much the whole MBC lineup when I was there a couple weeks ago. Fresh too. Don't miss Zoe - better than Lunch, imo

I'm just over trying to get these FW beers. There are just too many other people going for them. They sell out instantaneously.

No doubt. Sucaba has come and gone and Calvert Woodley. They've got Mango Magnifico for $13.99. Brooklyn Improved Old Fashioned - $22.99. OTWOA (early Feb canning) $18.99. Cinnamon Roll'd W&B.

That and they can be easily traded for. Folks in CA have much better access to them, eg Costco and TJ's in CA often get enough cases that they don't impose limits

Not necessarily the case anymore, 18th anny was there and gone in a hot minute, have a buddy in Petaluma told him to keep an eye out, he never saw it, what he's said in the past is that anything over $18 or $20 will sit on shelves there for a while, apparently that is not the case anymore. Was in Petalum/Santa Rosa back in October, case upon case of Velvet Merlin was everywhere, but that beer ain't that good, and they make a lot of it...

Crazy that Costco gets cases of Sucaba when DC gets like a few cases for all stores...

I was in SF 2 weeks ago and the general consensus among beer geeks was that Sucaba and other FW special beers were becoming way harder to get

I am always on the lookout for these "rare" beers but it is ridiculous that of the top 100 beers on here, maybe you can find 10 or so if you really look and make connections with different stores.
