That's so weird because I hate overly bitter IPAs and I found SoE to be delicious.

Second that thought...and there are still over 100 tickets left, kind of shocking for any kind of HHB IPA. I think the clown is scaring people off. And the fact that it's a newer lesser known IPA, but it was pretty tasty at the brewpub release. But really, I think it's the clown.

Hoof announced a new beer per instagram called " I can see clearly now that the rain is gone" You can find this black sheep of the family at the end of a rainbow after a long cold crashing rainy day. This clear double ipa is hopped with cascade and to be enjoyed while watching a mountain stream.

 

Might be going through the area next weekend and curious if anyone knows what might be available? Any rumblings.

 

If there aren't any rumblings, the releases are usually posted on Facebook by Monday around noon.

 

FYI- I can confirm growler fills are now available at the tap room. Konkey Dong ran $22 for a fill.... Reminds me of EWSC.

 

Oh man, this is me jelly. Konkey is 1000x better than EWS--love that stuff. Very close to Trillium...close.

 

Only 64 oz or will they do 32?

I didn't ask. I only have 64oz growlers. If you call the tap room, the hosts/hostesses should be able to answer. I called ahead to see if they had started filling growlers and thankfully they gave an answer before I drove there.

 

I'm heading there today, figured I would bring both growler and howler. No worries. Thanks for the feedback.

 

Canning on 4/10 will be Everybody Wants Some not sure of hop type though
