Boulevard - Rye on Rye "X" - Sazerac Cocktail

    Below is the label for an upcoming Smokestack release. This new beer will be a variant of Rye on Rye, that is meant to mimic the flavors of a Sazerac Cocktail. This will come packaged in 750ml corked & caged bottles and will likely see the same distribution as other releases in the Smokestack series. No word on release date.

    Love their smokestack series and sazeracs so looking forward to this for sure. Hope they get the absinthe notes to come through

    Saw this on the schedule, I live the smokestack series and like rye whiskey sounds like its worth picking up for me.

    That sounds great and I'll buy a bottle.

    They should make a Manhattan version and age it in vermouth barrels!

    Rye on Rye on Rye landed in keg in GA, albeit over the 14% cap. No word on bottles. Sad face. :slight_frown:

    Sounds good to me. Hopefully this isn't one of those beers that sounds great in concept but fails in execution

    Luuuuurve me some Sazerac. I will be buying the shit out of this. The Manhattan stout sounds interesting too.

    Oh my. I'd love that.

    EDIT: After seeing the release schedule again, looks like we'll be getting something along these lines! Disappointed that the Coffee Ale from last year didn't make the cut for the TBD Imperial Stout, but I'm down to try something new.

    Shame I missed out on that Temperance beer. I have this years Double Rye... need to dig into that soon.
