The Averagely Perfect NEPA or NEIPA Project - Pre-Poll

I love gravy. I love beer. I love nonsense. I don't care if the poll beer is NE style. My point was and will continue to be the community didn't get to choose the beer. Then shit got real, I guess?

Gravy beer is OK, but Brew_Betty brews beer that doesn't qualify as gravy with 1318 or Conan and a crap ton of hops. No finings. You don't believe it. That's OK. Sorry, if that hot dog gif in the other thread hurt your feels. That was not my intention. The true meaning was deeper than it should have been and was rationally explained in the same thread.

you didn't hurt my feels sista. I think Vike chose to not do a pre "style" poll due to the "NEIPA" being such a hot topic at the moment. There is also a lot of people getting they're interest peaked by this style due to recent examples on the market in all parts of the country.

Since all you brew is clear beer, maybe you could learn a thing or two here as to how to make a gravy boat milk shake orange julius lookin' beer.....

 

The kids are with their baby daddy and their substitute mom this year. She has fake tits and no beard. It's difficult to compete with that. Next year is mother's day for me. Thanks though.

Like I said earlier in the thread before shit got real, NEIPA or NEPA "probably" would have been the popular choice. However, you don't know for sure unless there is a poll to determine what type of "crowd sourced beer" to make. No one with a shred of logic can disagree with that unless they choose to be omnipotent and intolerant of other rational points of view. When called out as omnipotent in the absence of logic, a meltdown occurred. That was unfortunate, somewhat baffling and entertaining at the same time.

I can't see your pic, but firmly believe you are showing a cup of hop gravy with pride. I can make gravy beer. I can drink gravy beer. I can enjoy gravy beer more while blindfolded. Nothing should prevent someone from making gravy beer if that's what they like.

I would vote for an IPA. 7.5 abv, 70ish ibu. 2 row, 15% flaked oats, honey and acid malts. ~150ppm chlorides and sulfates. 1318 yeast. Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo. Just some ideas.

 

I'm in, I missed the primary voting but I like the outcome.

I'm predicting this will start a hop shortage, come time we are ready to brew.

It wasn't just yours. It was a whole host of posts going back and forth with a completely off-topic string of posts. Cleaning up the mess and getting the thread back on track took out a few other posts that had quotes of other content that was removed.
