With you 100%. It's a great pale ale but it needs another name. I remember the very first PseudoSue bottle I ever bought and this is nothing in comparison. I was thinking FauxSue.

For some reason I'm not seeing your posted picture. But I can assume what's there. Definitely different strokes for different folks as I put up DDH on tap, Pseudo Sue on tap, and a bottle of Galaxy Dry Hopped Pseudo Sue in a row at the taproom on Friday night. My verdict: Galaxy>Pseudo Sue>DDH. Voted equally by 2x drinkers that night.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. A buddy overheard someone sending a Dorothy's back at the taproom the weekend before last

 

I must be insane as I thought it was the worst PseudoSue I have ever had.

 

NugMo (Golden Nugget with Mosaic) is being bottled today. TG confirmed via Twitter that it will see distro but unknown where/when. It will be available at the taproom today.

 

I definitely fall somewhere in between, nose is nice, but found it overly bitter compared to where tends to be coming out of Decorah.

 

Just FYI - the lovely women in the tap room weren't sure it was coming today. So may want to call to confirm before heading there.

That's discouraging, the outsourcing only continues. Wonder how long before they start franchising.

In the meantime I'm gonna go drink a Florida Sue because I'm a hypocrite chucklebox!

 

There was an earlier thread started on this Wisconsin Brewing / TG contract that was removed (why?), and my reply made a similar point. It does not seem to sell well out of my regular liquor store.
