First time posting to this thread, also (obviously) first time building up some shelves for my cellar. I should have followed this thread more closely as my shelves are a bit too deep, but, the base purpose has been served, my beers are finally off the floor which was a bit too cold even for unrefridgerated beer!

A humble start compared to many of you but I finally have a designated mini fridge to keep my Stouts at a constant temperature and for my rotating drinkers.

I keep meaning to ask you how your room was "filling out" looks awesome! I think this may be my next project! Wife has me doing this and that.... Bout time a project gets done for me! I dig the labels out, and the additional bc poster, hard to tell what the other two framed pictures are. Do you plan on adding another shelf on the right wall? Is this just beer? Or do you have wine too? I have much much more beer than wine or spirits, but I'd likely need space for all 3

The two framed pictures are patent applications for the making and preserving of beer. As for adding a shelf, I don't really know. I would prefer not to, but I'm afraid I'm going to run out of space again and have to do something. This is just beer, I have a small wine fridge in my house for my limited wine selection and I keep my spirits in there as well. Thanks for the questions!

Well it looks incredible, and I'm jazzed every time I see the pictures. I've shared them with many friends, as it is a great build. I may bug you more via pm once I get cracking on my build.

This is how my cellar looked 4 months ago. I have a lot more variety in there now, as I drink one beer and buy 4 more to replace it, much to my girlfriend's disgust!! I really need to take some more up to date pics, but you get the idea.

After a recent trip to Belgium, I really developed a taste for sour beer so I plan to stock up on a few of these next. Already have a few bottles of Drie Fontenien, some Boon and have some Cuvée René Gueze and Kriek coming tomorrow.

This is a list of what is currently down there for anyone that may be interested (not all for ageing of course).

This thread makes me completely envious, however I'm starting to think some of you are more beer collector than beer drinker.

Here is my set up. Fridge is everyday drinkers. The vodka box is full of 750's, Oberon box is full of assorted 12oz. BCS is 2012-13, only 4-5 bottles left. Lagunitas box is now half full of Hi West, Lots of fun stuff in the boxes. Burton is 1/2 Burton and the BP is VAS from last winter , 1/2 gone. I drink lots of these with friends and add as I see fit. There is a 2012 BCBS in there and 9 bottles of 2012 120 minute. A few old Burton Baton and 90 minutes. bunch of gueze but nothing earth shattering.

    Enjoy

Nothing, just makes it easier to see what's what when looking at the dates etc.

I was looking into investing in a wine cooler myself. What brand/model is this one and how many big bottles were u able to fit on the bottle there?

There are some absolutely amazing cellar pictures in this thread! I just finished reorganizing my own collection so I thought I would share. I have dedicated sections for stouts, sours, saisons, and one section just for locals (primarily OEC and Kent Falls). Now, I guess I just need to start drinking some of it...
