Abnormal Beer Co - Winter 16/17

At least $200, you watch. The bottle by itself would probably be $45 for 16 oz considering their normal price points.

 

And it will sell out in seconds.

 

No doubt, although I'm not sure whether that says more about the beer or the poor saps that spring for it.

 

Any idea what the beer actually is?

Maybe the worst opening time of any spot
when you have to drive back 2 plus hours it was plan to hit when open and get back on the road but see it open in the early evening LOL

 

Good to know about the 3pm open as I head down there this weekend.

"Maple Mornings" will be on tap today when we open. This 11.5% Maple, Vanilla, Coffee Imperial Stout will be available only at @thecorkandcraft and is an absolute maple bomb. Also returning is our English Pale Ale "Jolly Good" which is a great pairing with most food on our menu.

 

A stout with maple, vanilla, and coffee? That's so abnormal.

 

Abnormally good as in different? Sure. Here now. Not as overwhelming as ironfires release from a few months ago as that maple was overwhelming but eased once it warmed. This release is subtle on the maple, vanilla mouthfeel and not as viscuous as other stouts. Good job Derek. As of now, it's about to kick. David, you over at alesmith currently?

Ha, no. The pain that was work this morning into the afternoon turned me into being lazy for the rest of the day. So dinner, some beer from the fridge, and finish watching the rest of Daredevil S2 so that I am energized to wash, rinse, repeat until the weekend. =P

I think on thursday it would officially be 2.5months of bavss being on draft.

 

Surprised these are not available for purchase but i don't blame them as trying to avoid a shitshow, similar to what occurred at oskar blues ba ten fidy release. On another note, did you attend rip currents 2nd anniversary @ NP? Thos past Sat? No hope was still going before close.

But many have tried it and the consensus is it is worth a trip there.

 

Imo, time to celebrate this 2.5 month anniversary... with a pour of BAVSS...
