Thats too bad. I had an issue with one of their beers which i reviewed. They contacted me about it, and then a package showed up on my door with three cases of their beer in it. I gladly drank all of it and got a t-shirt out of the deal. That was pretty top notch customer service if you ask me...I will definitely always support sixpoint, even if its not my 'favorite' brewery

Never had it. Hopefully at some point I will be able to get my hands on some Sixpoint.

I wish I could get Sixpoint here...

@Sixpoint , please start distributing to the LCBO sometime in the next 50 years. We have Bellwoods and GLB in Toronto, but no other local brews that are interesting. GLB only really is known for its IPAs (Thrust, Lake Effect, Karma Citra) but none are year round. Ontario beer folks use this to talk to one another: http://www.bartowel.com/forum/

If an American craft brewery takes the leap into the Ontario market they would make a killing. We only have SNPA (just recently) , Boston Lager, Anchor Steam and Liberty Ale. Here is a full list of what the LCBO carries:
    http://www.foodanddrink.ca/lcbo-ear...lt&sort=sortedName&order=1&resultsPerPage=100

The LCBO spends 2-3 months warehouse aging the first shipment of product while it does lab testing, but freshness is often quite good here.

Over the past month I've had:

    40 day old Pilsner Urquell
    40 day old Hofbrau Original
    30 day old SNPA
    30 day old Anchor Steam
    40 day old Weihenstepaner Hefeweissbier

BUT I've seen really really old stuff on the shelves as well.

Thanks for taking the time to list all of the items that you appreciate. However, regarding your comment "What else could you want from a brewery?" - we believe there is a still a long road to travel for us at Sixpoint. There are still dozens of things we feel we need to improve upon, and every day the goal is to make incremental progress.

Having honest feedback from folks like you helps us get there.

    we are looking into that...

Please let us know if you need help with that.

    cheers

I have always enjoyed Sixpoint beers. I took the time to review 3 Beans on this site because I enjoyed it immensely (not an impressive feat by any means, but I don't have the time to do reviews often).

I've been to Beers4Beasts 2 years in a row, crazy stuff at that event.

Although just reading this whole post has made me appreciate them more then their beer and events combined. Great work guys.

    @SixpointJMH @CleanFiend

Just wanted ya'll to know that we've taken all of your collective feedback since the last packaging, production, and formulation "refresh" that launched in May 2014 and we are very excited to announce the birth of Sixpoint 3.0 this Spring. All core beers will have an innovative new "freshness" revealer that will provide you both the canning and recommended best buy dates. I'm mega-amped as to what the packaging & graphics team did with this - I hope you like it too. Thanks to @JackHorzempa and others for the suggestions.

There will be even more visible indicators of style guidelines and certain beer specifications, along with other relevant info. Most important, we've spent the last 3 years sourcing the best ingredients we possibly could find, including some experimental hops and new malt varieties - and the first big wave of these materials just landed at our facilities last month. We cannot wait to show these off in some of the new formulations. The first wave of releases will be out before Memorial Day of this year.

More info, images, and details will be revealed over the next 3 months as we prepare for the launch. As always, we couldn't have done it without you and we've enjoyed every minute of this journey on our never-ending path to continuous improvement.

    cheers

I very much appreciate all of your efforts!

It is extremely satisfying that you take the time to listen to your customer's concerns/ideas and implement changes accordingly.

In my opinion you are the poster child for how a brewery can be an engaged partner of the beer community. As Tom (@drtth) stated above, I too will make it a priority to purchase more Sixpoint beers in the future.

The contemporary craft beer industry is very competitive right now and I will make it my goal to 'work' with those breweries who best represent the community spirit that I feel is part of the craft beer scene.

    Cheers!

Oooo... a revealer?! I wonder what that will be like! As long we don't need a secret decoder ring to reveal the message. ("Drink your... Sixpoint? :grinning: )

Very cool, but leave The Crisp alone OK?

In all seriousness, I'll be keeping an eye out for Sixpoint in the near future. Thanks for the update.

And don't worry @Ranbot - only thing we changed on The Crisp was sourcing better hops. :-)
