that is saying if you bought two tix and showed up by yourself you would only get one allotment... so bring a mule

 

5 bottles each, so 10 total. Each ticket gets you 4 reg DL, 1 variant.

One ticket per person.

Basically all of that text just means one person can't use two tickets to get a double allotment. Someone else must be physically present to use the second ticket.

 

Being a rookie, you and your friend will probably leave with a combined 2 bottles. May want to research Dark Lord theft.

Hey, I was barely coherent by 1 and still got home with all of my allotment!

Now my totebag with some of the beer I brought, God only knows what happened to that...

 

Didn't they go with vouchers again for the Warpigs at FFF event this fall? Have a feeling we are going to be buying vouchers to spend at the stands.

 

Those totes sucked... almost spilled mine and I put it in my back pack. I seem to remember some people did spill theirs though...

Also like the "Group sales subject to change day of the event" note by the groups. E.G., "We start letting in group B'ers at 9:30am because we aren't aware A'ers are still stuck in the entry line, tough cookies."

 

Nice. It appears they fixed the fiasco of having to go wait back in line on re-entry which they made me do last year.......................

Re-entry will be allowed through the Exit Gate at the South entrance. A person reentering will not be required to line up in the main entry lines at the South Gate.

 

So then the $180 doesn't include tap pours?

For those doing the math at home:

4 DL ~20 each- $80
1 BA DL- ~50 each- $50
$130 for bottles means the remaining $50 is going to set-up, organization and bands?

 

Ripoff. Sure it was a clusterduck back in the day but at least I wasn't priced in for $180. My Dark Lord Day boycott continues into it's 4th year. Have fun sheeple

When it inevitably sells out in 1 second again this year, it will be hard to call it a "ripoff". Of course I'd prefer lower prices and the absence of all the awful bands, but I get it.

 

It's kind of like saying Lollapalooza is a rip-off because you don't like the bands. Doesn't mean that other people won't pay a premium to see them. A lot of DLD attendees may not like metal, but the band still needs to get paid. $50 for the security, tents, and music seems reasonable for an all day fest.
