See you clearly aren't reading my post. I actually made a point to say that I am NOT boycotting Westbrook. And for what its worth, I am extremely fortunate in life that I can afford a $200 bottle of beer, but just because you can afford to purchase something doesn't mean you agree with the pricing of it. I also wasn't throwing a tantrum. Again you are sensationalizing things to try to prove some point. If someone is coming off as childish in this thread its pretty clear who that is.

What it comes down to is that life is not all about the bottom dollar for everyone on this planet, even for some people who own businesses. I choose to have a different level of respect for companies who care about more than just milking every dollar they can out of their customer base, and I will chose to give my support more to those types of business.

I wasn't saying YOU were that person, I was simply generalizing. "You" being anyone that my statement applied to. I can read just fine, thank you. I'm not glad that taking an adult stance on something is being childish lol. Oh well.

I tend to lean this way in terms of my take on it as well. However, this does alienate the true local fan who is a waiter and just wants to drink it. Either way, you can't please everyone. I can say that willett cake is better than most of the high-priced beers on that on-site menu (including pappy imho), so let the tickers tick. I'm just sitting here trading for willett all day.

I'm seeing bottles of Rhuberb Remix in stores around town. Have yet to try it. Reviews on untapped are not lookin too good/varied. Opinions on this batch?

Had it at the brewery a couple of weeks ago. It had a horrible chemical aftertaste to me, like burning plastic mixed with styrofoam. May have just been the keg mine was poured from though?!

Key Lime Pie Gose had it's first canning run of 2017 today (per FB and Instagram)! Westbrook has cans at the brewery right now.

Had it on tap and enjoyed, and I don't even like rhubarb.

Key Lime gose needs to find its way to Florida. One of the finest beers I've ever had

It went out to some accounts today- it'll see decent distro but we all had to be fast on our ipads to cover our accounts. We were oversold in an hour.

Regular MC will be out next month and will hit distribution. The last 2 years, BA Cakes have been purchased through BPT (Brown Paper Tickets) and launched silently. That won't happen until Fall.

Can you buy bottles and cans to go? I've got a friend running through Mt. Pleasant.

They sell cans, bottles, and crowlers to go. Below is a link to what they have for sale at the tasting room right now. I recommend Two Claw Rye IPA and Key Lime Pie Gose.

Gotcha. I graduated from Georgia Southern a few years ago and remember Westbrook taking care of Charleston locals to a point were it was a little frustrating and weird to "locals" within the region. I get them wanting to take care of them but I couldn't tell you how much $$$ Ive spent on WB in GA and AL. Wouldn't mind a little more up front communication. With that rant out of the way how hard is it to pick up tickets?

Last year, they were gone within minutes after being posted online (with no announcement of the time). I heard that some people were able to get tickets within the first hour if they had enough patience to keep 'refreshing' and wait for tickets to leave others' baskets during the ordering process. I had a couple of friends who kept checking and let me know when they went 'live'. I, in turn, did the same for a few friends, and so forth...

Gotcha I guess I'll do the same. Didn't they expand their facilities last year? Any chance the next allotment will be bigger?

Does anyone know if the Key Lime Gose is an all season thing or a more limited one drop occurrence?

Key Lime will drop a few times, during it's 4-5 month release window.
