Any word on Coffee Cake yet?
Does anyone know when Regular Cake is hitting distribution - in particular I'm referring to the Myrtle Beach area. Thanks if anyone has any info.
The best way in finding this out is to call the brewery and ask to speak with the owner. Or call the distributers. Other than that, I don't know how a consumer or even an employee would know?
Was there still cake at brewery today?
Advintage will pick it up Monday. It'll begin shipping Tuesday. Where and when it'll be delivered depends on routes and delivery days.
As of yesterday was there still some at the brewery?
I ain't the most sure, but I'd bet my life that it is still there.
Mostly due to the fact the they haven't made an official post about it and haven't updated the tap list to include it.
I'll be going back today to grab 6 more.
Let us know if there was still some available and how much. Please!
Cake is gone. Rip
Any Coffee Cake yet? Last year I feel like they released it a week after regular Cake
Usually 2+ weeks after the regular Cake. I hope we see bottles next weekend or Memorial Day Weekend.
No word on coffee cake yet. But RIP Cake - nice while it lasted
Has anybody seen cake in distro in Charleston?
Brew Cellar in park circle just posted they have some. 2pp
Also total wine and bottles 1pp
Popping up here in Myrtle.
Looks like just a little bit in CLT now as well.
Coffee Cake was a "silent" release Memorial Day wknd last year. I'd expect something similar this yr.
WB post on facebook says there are limited edition mexican cake stem glasses and new 16oz passionfruit IPA 4 packs at the brewery. Passionfruit IPA is SC distro only.
Anybody seen Cake anywhere other than Community Tap in Greenville? They got 4 cases and it sold out in about 1 hr.
Really new to all this. Any idea if/when it makes its way to Athens, GA?
Sounds like it is popping up in ATL. I'd guess Athens no later than the end of this week (Friday).
Curious, has anyone popped a bottle/had on draft yet? Last year's was missing the heat (unless you got a BA variant). Wondering how this year's reg is ....
Where 16 had virtually no heat...and 15 had substantially more than 16...I'd say 17 falls right in between. Dare I say...the perfect amount of heat...for me at least.
I know others seek the heat if the past. But imo it's pretty well dialed in this year. (Only had on tap so far, haven't cracked a bottle.)
Hit the nail on the head for my thoughts on it. Pepper came through more and more as it warmed. If you want nothing but heat, look elsewhere. This one is well balanced and leaps and bounds above last year.
^^What was said above...the heat of '17 falls between the last 2 years. Most will enjoy this year's batch. My wife and I opened a '15 bottle recently and it still had that 'throat numbing' heat! The other adjuncts had fallen off a bit, but that heat was still going strong.
Anyone tried the passionfruit tart IPA?
Oh man, Cake dropped early this year? I guess I should have visited this page sooner. Oh well, first time missing it in a few years. Come on Coffee Cake!
Crafted had 2 cases today 1 per person. I grabbed one I'm sure all sold out now. Greens is releasing theirs tomorrow at 4, 1pp. GBX has a keg with growler fills.
Where in Atlanta.. haven't heard anything.
How available is Coffee Cake? I've never had it and MC is my favorite stout, so I need to know what I'll be expected to trade for a Coffee Cake.
Normally 2 per person, silent release and normally lasts at the brewery for 1.5 days. It's really good, and trades pretty well...though it is all over the map in value...
Alabama got it today. Don't think most places have put it out yet though
It's alright. Not an IPA. For me, it's in the same vein as Tire Hand's milkshake IPAs without the flower.
Heard Green's, but could have been bad intel. Haven't seen any posts on social media yet.
Naw.. not at greens..
I saw a cryptic tweet from Tower on Buford a couple days ago talking about a special release stout that you needed to ask for behind the counter. I figured it was Cake because they wouldn't even call it by name. Who knows though.
That's the most Westbrook thing I've ever heard.
