Sounds like someone is bitter they aren't group A You act like waiting in line to get your DL is a novel experience.

Going to my first dark lord day this year. Super pumped about it. I've been watching this thread when I can, but I have missed a good amount of it. Any advice of a dld newb? And I was looking to trade some stuff while I'm there. Is there a separate thread for this or ? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

I feel like our momentum was really killed on our way to 100 with all this speak of the bands. How about we talk about the weather or the tote bags instead.

 

Tote bags! My buddy hates those tote bags mainly because he got his FVM all the way home only to have it fall out of the tote bag and yes it broke. He was truly sad for several days and we even built a shrine for it. Eventually he got over it and our friend who had one shared his bottle so he did get to a least try it. Of course beer karma would have it, he was the only person in our large group going to land group A! Needless to say he won't be using the tote bag this year and we will be getting bubble wrap to immediately protect his variant! Can't wait to go again this year.

That tote bag is absolutely terrible for carrying beer and also provides thieves an easy way to your beer. I use it mostly for grocery shopping these days.

 

Agreed. At least the ones from surly darkness have individual dividers to keep things from moving around too much as well as extra support on the base.
