My favourite Super Premium back in the day was Erlanger but it's good to see that Andeker is making a comeback of sorts.

Are there dates on them? I usually check, but they had me at 1.99.

Don't remember about dates since those I had were most all purchased within a month of so of the intital release and I've not really found any since.

But that price would worry me a bit that the ones you bought were more than a couple of months old. Have you tried one yet? It would be interesting to hear your reactions to those you found.

Edit: One of the recent reviewers in the database says there was a best by date of 6/15/17 on his.

Yes. Tasting like Old Tankard. Great buy in my book. Came across them at a Woodman's in Beloit Wi.

Great. Enjoy what you found at that price. From the OP it sounds like we'll not be seeing it again. :slight_frown:

It looks like DEC 2016 CANNED. Still tasting fine though.

Old school is cool. I like that beer, but I wish the old Young's London Special, Ramrod, Dirty Dick, and Oatmeal Stout were still extant. I never saw the Old Tankard around here, but I surely would've tried it!

Perhaps some of that Pabstish reverse snobbery marketing could tip the scale? I'd sure as hell buy it, being a tried and true nostalgian!

I remember that day- it took me like 15 minutes of constant taplist searches on Beermenus before I could find one that had any English ales on it. Once upon a time it was just the opposite, and I would just wish I could find some Anchor or Sierra Nevada in a sea of English ales. Maybe things will eventually balance out in the future .
