    I don’t like Gin and I don’t like IPAs… But for some reason this works. I guess two wrongs can make a right.

    Cheers BA! Saranac's summer cases are usually my least favorite and I have seldom bought one. BUT - they have the fall case out NOW! I like that they have it out now. If the beer is in the case then please put it on the shelf right away is how I feel about it. I'll tell you about the haus lager on a sunday. Today I am drinking the bavarian pils. See that word fine? Perfect appearance. Bright & clear like spun gold. The nose is exquisitely minty with the soft white middle of the bread prominent. Then the crust. The softness form hops gracefully entices you to the middle of the beer. Cool and a bit forward. Finishes breaddy and crisp with a small bite from bubble to show you some of the hop spice and gentle bitterness. I am going to drink a lot of this case I can already tell.

    As far as a comparison this one compares to troegs sunshine pils. Except I think troegs is a bit more delicate and this one heartier. It's good to see all the pilseners! yay.

    No work for me until August 1! Just dropped off Mrs. 3786 at the airport, got most of the grocery shopping done, and grabbed some projects for the kids. They are happily playing. Time for breakfast. Seems like I should join the morning crew today!
