    Bring it on!

SN does no wrong. And in my backyard!

These two a fall surfcasting combo--along with the Oktoberfest.

Sierra Nevada does a good job brewing lagers. I hope both are available in Florida.

I would have thought Sierra Nevada would have been above jumping on the NE IPA bandwagon. Apparently not.

You don't stay in business for 30 years by not selling people what they don't want to buy.

I suspect that the Cloudy IPA will generate the most excitement with the beer geek crowd (e.g., BAs) but I am most excited to try the Keller Pils they will be making.

    Cheers!

Looking forward to both beers, hopefully they bottle them.

I'm a self-professed SN fanboy, but they're really gonna have to bring it to the dance with that Keller pils. It'll be tough to make room in my rotation of Urban Chestnut's zwickel and pils.

I'm equally excited for both.

Yes, hopefully they can stay pure and only offer throwback OG beers like Sidecar and Tropical Torpedo going forward.

As with nearly all SN releases, I'm looking forward to these.

FFS - Sidecar apparently is being rebranded Sidecar IPA now! Maybe Stout IPA or Porter IPA will be next in line.

Omg! Southern Gothic is amazing. Had so many pours of that bad boy at Mills River earlier this year. This makes me so happy!

Apparently you did not notice the little detail that SN is the first one that will be doing them across a nationwide distribution footprint.
For NEIPA's in my neck of the woods. Most of the breweries making them will only sell them at the taproom, and very select stores. The rest self distribute.
In terms of shelf stability. If SN have figured something out that none of the others have. Which is likely. Because they have the means, and want to do the research.
    That's a gamechanger.
Because what floats their boat. Raises ours.

Wow, stoked for that keller. Put it in pint cans, SN!

Yes, because everyone wants a three month old NE IPA they can purchase at their local chain supermarket.

It would be nice to have a NEIPA that you didn't have to drink asap.

I did note the linked page says "appears to be in the NE-style IPA" - which to me indicates SN is not specifically claiming this substyle. Is there more info on this from SN itself?

Let's assume for now they are, then...
I think the responses will be interesting. If what I've read in general on this site about other SN releases are an indication, there will be the camp that finds it to be a decent, tasty IPA and the camp that says it doesn't even come close to measuring up to what their local place is doing.

For me, if it is supposed to be a NE IPA, I'm not expecting Aslin (good, bad, or indifferent), but am hoping for a decent representation of the substyle. But we'll see, I am firmly in the camp with quite a few others already posting - looking forward to getting to try these two beers.

How do we know this IPA is the low bitterness, soft, juice-like NEIPA - what if its just unfiltered but still tastes like an IPA?

Is this for real or was it just a joke?

This is what I am thinking, will probably be something along the lines of 2XIPA Unfiltered or Sculpin Unfiltered.
