Pumpkinator countdown

Just picked up two bottles at Beer & Wine World in Mansfield. Two bottle limit and only have 6-8 bottles left. Pricey here. $10.99 a bottle.

 

HEB at 99 had about 8 bottles left on the shelf.

 

Rumpkin was available in MA this weekend. I couldn't make it over to the store that posted they had it though.

Flying back to Houston tomorrow with about $600 worth of beer. Gonna be a fun tasting on Saturday.

I know how that is. Long live Southwest free checked bags and my styrofoam boxes. Going to parents in 2 weeks in CA and they have around $550 in scotch and $200 in beer (parabola and a few others) sitting around waiting for me to bring back. It will be nice to restock the fridge a little. Just wish I had a bigger budget (only 150 of the scotch is for me )

 

Reminds me of when I spent a week in San Diego a few years ago.. my luggage was crammed packed with beer. Shit weighed a ton. The little lady that threw my bag on the belt damn near broke her spine bone.

 

Yeah, I overdid it on this trip. Walked into too many stores. Plus the visit to the alchemist. 3 FedEx boxes, 1 full suitcase, 1 box to check, and a few random bottles in our other luggage. I just hope everything arrives safely.

 

shit i may have to run to RR to get some more BBXXIV if it sall out everywhere.

makes me laugh when someone posts about some other greedy bastard but still gets a few cases of his own.

 

Saw about a dozen bottles of XXIV at HEB Escarpment last night.

 

BBXXIV at Rayford/Sawdust Specs...if anyone needs more up this way.

 

How much did they have left? I want to buy a couple, but this month is too costly already!

not sure, shelf was full, who knows if they had any more than what was on the shelf. expensive beer season has only just begun...I am awaiting Abyss...and the winter seasonals!

BBXIV is still at Hyde Park Grocer (Flag Store), I was there last night. Also, Pumpkinator hits there today.

 

Guru in Sugarland still had some pumpkinator, so I asked my wife to stop at lunch and pick me some up. She asked for 4 from the counter, they took her card, went and got it and came back saying it was $70!!! I know it's a restaurant, but they advertise to go beer. I didn't think it would be double retail!!

 

lol i started with 0 today and by the end of this weekend i could have up to 9, my sister in law works at a specs in College Station and she and brother are getting me 3 each. Than ive got a local store here that has a shipment coming in Thursday and they said they would put aside 3 for me as well....what am i gonna do with 9 bottles of this stuff
