I thought it was owned by the Tampa Sports Authority. I guess I am wrong.

 

It depends how beer snobby you want to get, but even though I prefer drinking from glass, I’d rather have the acrylic like last year. People overdrink, and will accidentally break their glasses, and that’s tougher to clean up in a grass parking lot than cement. For the sake of the tires of those die hard Bucs fans, I’d vote no glass. Also for safety at the event.

Is there an over/under for the amount of people who lose their wristbands over the next 4 months and then bitch about their own inability to keep their shit in order?

 

Some of us have trouble holding onto our movie tickets (back when there were such things) from ticket counter to ticket taker. Four months (wait, it's a bit over three months for those of us that can keep our numbers in order!) is going to strain my mental capabilities to the max.

Random question for a newbie...what kind of things go on Thursday/Friday before Hunahpu day? Lots of events around town?

 

It's Tampa Bay Beer Week so there are events going on prior to Hunah Day

 

Yes, more than you will be able to attend, and that's not a challenge. Pace yourself, and decide which places you're interested in. Check out the Tampa Bay Beer Week site leading up.

 

Good resource for events once it gets closer. But yes, there are tons of events. Cycle BA Day is Friday if you’re able to get tix.

Great resource. I'll also attend the entire week before Huna. Still in the process of setting up some IP's for that week. Was looking into trying to get tickets for BA-day, but it's in person only, so that will probably be a no go

 

I'm going to try and take the day off and attend BA day. Besides being only in person sales, are tickets super limited? Is it an Angry Chair Anniversary situation?

 

You will most likely have to take 2 days off. one to get the ticket and one for the event. They are usually sold in person only and there is a line.

 

Yea, last year if you weren't in line by like 2-3 am (can't remember exactly but it was stupid early) you didn't get a ticket.
