My buddy from npt was able to pick me up a 4pk of each of the new releases (yes!). Said no lines, seemed to be a good amount left.

He said they told him they’re aiming to try to have tasting room back open in about 3 wks or so, but still kinda seems up in the air. Fingers crossed.

Having a Back Away Slowly...holy shit. One more week has really done this beer well. This is one of their best beers. Ever.

Even Mo Money still tastes so great. I’m kinda flabbergasted.

For people in NYC, Alewife in LIC is tapping Sand City stuff tonight. I work right down the block so I'm counting down the minutes until 5.

Do they have a decent amount of so that happened and roots left?

Get out there and buy people! With no tap room open I am sure they can use the cash that can sales generate. Need to continue to support this brewery, great beer and well run. Grabbed more cans on Monday, they were working their asses off. When owner/head brewer is the one getting you your cans, that is the kind of place I want to do well.

To be honest I couldn't tell. Greenport was there for the Joel release, so the area near the cans was packed with various brewers. They had 1 4pk of each of the cans for sale out on a table. A runner went behind them to get some of the beers. If its any help, I mentioned to the runner that I thought they had sold out, and he said me too. So maybe not that much?

Edit: went back to their Monday IG post and they said they had 25 powers at open.

Strictly 80's Joel is a fantastic beer and a classic name. As I've said before - if Sand City is putting Galaxy in a beer, that beer is not to be missed.

I’m sorry, but can some of the people who comment on Sand City’s IG Page are the laziest, most irritating people on the web. Seriously, do these people even bother reading their posts. Every release people ask the same dumb questions that are already answered on the top of the page.

I look at Instagram to get updates, but the incessant and juvenile ISO that litter the comments section of OH and to a lesser extent SC make me question why I even look at all. Waiting for someone to post : FT Other Half 4th Anniversary ISO : Other Half 4th Anniversary !

It’s the people constantly asking for updates(???), complaining about SC’s accessibility and asking questions that are answered on the same damn page that irritate me. The situation hasn’t changed in months now, and they say (all the time) that they’ll update the page when they need to. I’d lose it if I was running their IG page.

Like...they just posted at 4:30 they’re out of Joel and that they have 10 cases of Vic and lots of Stormborn left, and literally the first comment after the update was “any Joel left??” Unbelievable

Btw, besides the great name, Strictly 80s Joel is another hit. Very citrusy. I only got a 4 so I’ll probably sit on the other three for a bit.

When I read IG comments for breweries, sometimes I think there are people who live 1000 miles away who will never go to brewery or trade posting for the hell of it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the people asking the stupidly redundant questions live 10 minutes away.

My favorites are always "do you ship to ___?" Like if you're following these breweries you know they arent shipping stuff to you.

Incredible how dumb so many people are.
