Rough day at work, had some less than pleasant effects from a Shingles shot I took yesterday = maybe 4 hours of sleep. Feeling better now. Sierra Nevada Beer for Drinking

    Cucumber ginger variant

I found this a lot more enjoyable than when it was first bottled--cleaner and brighter, more expressive and tart.

First time with this and though I could have never guessed rum barrel. The pepper flavor really pops in this just delicious. Wish it were a tad bit spicier though.

I’ve always enjoyed that one, it’s just a mean price tag for an easy drinking beer.

I’m from the Boston area and am used to the heavy hop thick beers. I am in Florida and for the last week I’ve been drinking Floridia IPA’s. I find it to be a refreshing change.

I love Isbell, but I can't go that far while Bob Dylan is still alive. Perhaps greatest active songwriter?

I'm not that well spoken about hoppin, but i don't mind their pricing it's that fucking bomber format they have finally gotten away from. Still have one bottle of Van Wink, I wonder if it is worth a shit?

Got that back in UT Randy's Records, bootleg. Does sound pretty nice, thinking it's a digital copy, put on vinyl, but it is on the warm side, but then again, tubes are more on the warm side. I'm sure it's alot cheaper than an original.

Really nice day to ride, fuckn' windy as hell though, upper 60s, cloudy. Suppose to get some rain tonight, and probably in the morning. Hopefully, things dry out well enough for Saturday. Lot's of climbing in this area.

    Cheers!

Fantastic Berliner! Awesome head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy passion fruit, fruit skin, sour lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, mango, melon, guava, berry, white wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness. Lightly increasing pucker factor, but not overwhelming. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.5%. Really spot on balance between Lacto and fruit; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone. 4.2

BBA smoked wheatwine. This was really unique and delicious. Amazing lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Flavors of big wood smoke, honey, vanilla, brown sugar, bourbon, and toasted oak; balanced wheat, bread dough, and biscuity malts; with lighter notes of nuttiness, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, peppercorn, leather, peat, golden raisins, and herbal/grassy hops. Similar, muted, fruitier aromas, some spicy booze as it warms, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate herbal/peppery bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; creamy/silky/bready malts; light sticky hops and bourbon/oak tannins. Lightly increasing bitter/tannic oak dryness. Minimal astringency. Mildly increasing warmth of 9%, minimal barrel booze. Very smooth sipper. Really interesting, but I was a fan. Balanced bready/smoked malts, and barrels; with solid earthy hop presence/balance. Tastes kind of like a blend of peaty scotch and bourbon barrels in a way. Really tasty. 3.91

Tonight's closer, Marble's Imperial Red, which is new t cans.

Rox looking good tonight and DJ Lemahiue looks like he might be on the verge of having a monster season. .300+ batting average, 15-20 home runs, 15-20 steals maybe?
