What beer are you drinking now? #2000

Agree on this one. I generally dislike rum-barrel aged beers, but this was a shocking winner among the beers @jvgoor3786 gave me. Where is he, I wonder?

 

Probably one of the best beers ever made in South Carolina.

It appears we still won’t have a professional baseball team in Cincinnati again this year. At least they still have some good beer.

 

They are. I'll send you some at some point. We're lucky to get their stuff around here and it's all very reasonably priced. People have started catching on the last couple years though.

This one is great. The last time it was released was 3 years ago. 3 Years ago and the two years prior to that it was infected. So the last good one I had before this was some number of math deduction years ago.

It's nutty and oaky and soft on the bourbon. Healthy dose of coffee. Very well rounded.

 

I remember the BA infection debacle that's why I was surprised to see you post it. At this point i thought it was universally hated.

A few questions? Is that a 12 oz can? Are you getting Cigar City in Mass now?

 

They had problems with this and the cherry stout back in the day. The beans and cherries in the barrels caused the infections. They apparently got the bean part figured out.

 

This has held up remarkably well and makes me excited for the next release. Hint hint @Sixpoint

Maybe locally there are a couple people that would want a bottle...they have started 12 ounce bottles and cans. Regular Turbo Shandy is about to hit shelves in Cuyahoga County...people are already going nuts, which is kind of a surprise to me, but it's a huge hit with certain crowds. I've seen girls get knockout drunk on that shit. It's a sneaky 7%
