I also picked up cans dated 10/22 and It's definitely not how i remembered it. I'm getting a grassy taste, the last time i had one was over a year ago so it could just be me.

 

Anyone up there already? Debating trying to get there at open as long as it’s not a mess.

Wow thanks for update. I’ll just wait and see if it’s around tomorrow. If not oh well, crowds are a no go for me today.

 

Selling the bottles from back of brewery. Line is outside wrapped halfway around courtyard.

 

Just left a little bit ago. Still a LOT of bottles left and about 1/4 pallete of blue hotel left. No line

 

Waited like 40/45 mins at open got. Got there 1150 was surprised the line was so long but guess it makes sense. Got a few bottles and blue hotel. @glennl any insight into the total bottle run #s and/or case count on blue hotel. I know the runs have been getting bigger since the centrifuge

 

I'm honestly not sure but as a rule we're trying to make and package more of everything. The centrifuge helps but we've also added tanks three (four if you count the 20bbls) times in the last 12ish months. There's always going to be stuff that's limited due to barrel storage space or if its a one off variant, but we're making a lot of beer!

 

Anyone try the stout yet? How’d you like it if you did try it?

 

How close are you to Overhead seeing distribution? (I am guessing that is the next can to make it to the wild)

 

I'd have to say not close because we haven't discussed it really. Getting Head High out to more stores and managing it so that they don't run out is all we're worried about at the moment.

 

I too was disappointed with the 10/22 sneakbox I got. Wasn’t the Citra bomb I know and love.

 

Sounds like a not so great batch of hops.

 

I'm glad it's not just me (or all in my head), Sneak is one of my favorite consistently available beers, was worried that my tastes had changed or something.

 

Very little Blue Hotel left for anyone interested. Many more bottles.

 

I was up in Ocean County on Saturday so I made the trip up to Kane. I'm enjoying one right now. As expected it's really, really good. Plenty of honey sweetness, a bit of graham cracker, finishes strong with vanilla, lactose and very subtle cinnamon heat. I wish I bought more than 2 bottles but I'm mostly just really happy that the line was a breeze. I got there around 2 and there were like 2 people in line and I could still get all of the bottles and Blue Hotel I wanted to (I "only" got 2 four packs of Blue Hotel....can't blow my beer budget just yet; I'm going back home to MA for Thanksgiving which means TRILLIUM).

 

Thanks as much as I wanted to make the trek today responsibilities got the best of me. And I’m holding out for some December surprises from kane. Guess well see. Cheers.

 

This is disappointing I thought I had heard late 2018 for OH in stores. Also surprising given how long the last batch of overhead cans lasted, but this is by no means a criticism. I say this knowing that (1) there's a lot more to it than just that. And (2) Kane is of course doing everything it can to get beer in customer hands, meaning my hands, so our interests are aligned.

 

haven't had sneak since the summer so I haven't experienced this... but did already see some comments that blue hotel is not tasting the same as OG batch... not sure how true, but curious to here as people try it on here..
