I think we need more mixing of various #lynelife cultures. Imagine #hypebeast Supreme teens showing up for the next drop to find 50 of our proudest neckbeards crushing pastry stouts on the street in swanky downtown manhattan. Or maybe I can flip some Monkish cans for a BAPE hoodie in the next OH line.

My old ass has to google BAPE hoodie and I kind of wish I didn't. And here I thought spending $100+ on a case of beer was a bad financial decision.

Back in 2007 I purchased an all-over print LRG hoodie and thought it was a sound fashion decision.

It was at this moment where I decided to put the bong down and air out my brain a little.

Wow wish I hadn’t googled BAPE Hoodie either. Not only are they stupid expensive, they are amazingly hideous.

I could fly to PR for a week for a price of one of those hoodies.

cue a "collab" between Monkish, Trillium, and OH. Where they release 3 different cans - IPA, DIPA, TIPA. Each beer is named after a common "food" in their area (in-line with dollar pizza series).

now if they want to extend the hype for a few weeks, they can also tease a collab stout with a hashtag of #silentfuturez so people will line up for the next 6 weeks expecting a silent collab stout drop. After 6 weeks they'll assume it's being barrel aged, cue lines starting up again within 11.5 months of that instagram post.

Feel like it's gonna be similar to last year. Want 2nd, 3rd or 4th? Arrive at 7am and wait for hours. Want 5th? Roll up before 4pm.

Gonna be back in NYC this weekend and it's been basically exactly a year since last visit. Planning to hit OH on Saturday. I was able to show up after noon last year and still get 2 of the cans released that day. It looks like they are producing significantly more or people are just not waiting before they open? My question is it doesn't seem like you need to be there before or at open anymore to get cans released that day, right?

correct, as of today they still have cans from last weekends release. I think some of them are sold out now but some remain available. they drop cans midweek now as well, some may make it to later into Sat as well. Point being if you roll in 12pm or later the line should be gone and you will get cans, perhaps not ever single one from that days release but at least 1 or more

Yea and to echo @fdonnelly, I've only been to OH twice (both in the last 2 months) and both times showed up between 1 & 3:30 on a saturday. Both times no line and almost all cans were still leftover plus they had carryover from the Wed releases too. Just one (a Sand CIty collab) was sold out the last time I went, so you should be good rolling up around noon and have most cans as options to buy unless there's a highly anticipated collab or something out of the norm.

Oh...Forever is amazing. Creamy, spicy pineapple/passion fruit dank. Why even bother with lactose when it tastes this good? I’m really impressed.

I'm planning a trip to NYC with the starting point as Other Half in a few weeks. What does Other Half look like at 10am when they open? Can people just walk in and sit or is there always some sort of line that dies down over the first hour they are open? I doubt we'll get there at 10am, but I could see 10:30 or 11am. Thanks for any comments!

    The
They only open at 10am on Saturdays. I cant speak for the line since there is no point to get there at open anymore for cans. But, cans are sold in a separate location than the taproom. At 10am on Saturday you should have no issues with the taproom, however anytime after that its a mob scene.

Bolding mine, I would say that's a slight exaggeration. I've seen it be a mob scene at 11, but I've also gotten there on multiple Saturdays around 1030-11 and it's been easy to find a place to sit or set up camp standing, more so the more recent we're talking about. It's really a crapshoot depending on what's being released, if its a holiday weekend, what the weather is like, etc. @shadowane, I would venture that you'd be OK arriving at 1030-11.
