Digging the Narwhal. A bit hot but not a killer. Some aging might do it well.

Hey guys, is that Huebert Rasenmaher Kolsch a year round beer? I've not heard of it until the Beer Championship Series. Bottles or Draft?

Anybody try the Mikkeller Amarillo Single Hop IPA? It's interesting from a home brewer perspective using a single hop and a clean malt bill really showing what the hop variety has to offer similar to SMaSH brewing. I now must brew something with Amarillo, if only the LHBS could bring some in.

I've only seen it in bottles. I'm guessing it's seasonal but not sure. Just thinking about it makes me shudder, and not in the good way.

I feel the same way. I'm only interested because a lot of people voted on it for the BCS that the Thirsty Beagle does. Who voted for it if it is so bad? I saw it at The Cellar yesterday.

Those might be the same people who thought Nobama was "just a great wheat beer"

huebert is an embarrassment to this state and to craft beer in general.

Yeah I noticed that too. Maybe they had friends and family vote? I can't see someone drinking that and rating it a winner against F5, SNPA, and Arrowhead. It's impossible. I will say that the Raspberry Wheat is actually pretty good and the only beer I would buy again from the brewery.

    ooo dang...

Anyone else try the new Black OPA?

Pretty impressive, I like it a lot more
    than the base beer.

Agreed, that beer really impressed & suprised me. Nice to see Choc get a heavy hand with the hops, worked well

    The brew shop has limits?
    Never knew...

    After doing research, I'm intrigued
    with the fluctuating OPAs.
Curry Spice will either be delish or disaster.
