I thought this was new to me, but apparently I've had it before - probably from the NBS BIF at some point. My thoughts on it now stack up very well to that review almost two years ago.

    Cheers!

Posting Creed unironically is a pretty boss move.

This "imperial oatmeal milk stout" is apparently the base stout for other Perennial stouts, and it is certainly a winner... Solid black, full-bodied and a little sticky, it presents impressions of chocolate and molasses and coffee, with a side of drier, more bitter char... Site descriptor indicates it contains "a handful of cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans"... Best by date of 2/11/20 suggests a canning date of 2/11/19 and has an 11.5% abv...

    Cheers...

DDH Tasman Flowers from Corridor. The closest Nelson hopped IPA I have ever found to TG Zeelander! Some added wheat and Rye for a great earthy feel.

Some New Zealand Rock and Roll for your pleasure!

Spring is upon us, despite the six inches of snow I got last night. Troegs First Cut is what I'm sipping on this afternoon. It's brewed with mango, so go figure, there's a strong smell & taste of mango. But other fruits, mostly citrus, are present as well. I see a day with six inches of snow, and don't go running for a high ABV stout. These days make me say F' you to the weather and break out spring/summer beers. I'm the boss of my world, not the bleeping weather.

Settling in here ba. Wrench, northeast ipa, from Industrial Arts. Had this about a month ago on tap in the city. Very concentrated and fruity hops with a nice depth of flavors.

Dry-hopped DIPA (8.2% abv) brewed with Pilsener, Vienna, and wheat malts, their house ale yeast, and Centennial, Denali, and Lemondrop hops... Has a full body and mild citrus and orchard fruit impressions; mildly bitter, mildly sweet, very soft on the tongue... Enjoyable...

    Cheers...

It took awhile to get my gym warmed up today after our coldest morning.
Workout is done and I'm ready for beer and food.
Drinking Next Coast IPA from Goose Island and it's hitting the spot.
