Perennial, M&M, and Modern times better bring fire. I’m hoping for Monster Tones.

Will there a normal release on Saturday 3/16? Or will it be on Thursday 3/14 due to the festival? I will be in town for the weekend but not going to the festival.

We won't know until next week but I would suspect it'll be the Thursday again.

Every time I read a pastry stout description, I think the brewer must have been really stoned when coming up with that beer.

Yeah I always find myself reading them in the voice of Brian from Half Baked.

Braven is closing. Maybe OH can get some discount gear for their new W'burg digs.

Doesn't the Pastry Town FAQ say it's a Thursday can release? Here's what it says, I may be interpreting incorrectly:

Where can I pick up my VIP-package after purchasing my VIP ticket?
Each VIP ticket holder will receive a VIP-package pickup ticket confirmation, which they will need to bring to pick up their package. All VIP-packages will be available for pick up at Other Half Brewing, at 195 Centre St in Brooklyn. Packages will be available for pick up between Thursday March, 14 to Sunday, March 17. Please find specific hours for pickup below:

    Thursday, March 14 (5pm-10pm)
    Friday, March 15 (12pm-10pm)
    Saturday, March 16(Event Day): 10am-10pm
    Sunday, March 17: 12pm-8pm

How will the line work on Thursday's can release?
There will be one line for all customers. We'll separate our VIP ticket holders right before opening the can sale into a new line. Once you get in, you can pick up your VIP package(s) as well as the standard allotment from the Thursday release.

It says there will be s release on Thursday but doesn’t rule out a Saturday release. We will have to wait and see.

Did Diabetus City really overshadow today's drop of AGE? These are some dark, viscous times.

Any speculation on what the BA and other beer will be for VIP?

Someone posted a pic of barrels outside the brewery labeled "Super Collab" and the date was from last July. Guessing the BA will be Vanilla Futurez.

Ugh. Not sure barrels could save that beer. I'll get my sink ready for a pour.

I am suddenly regretting buying VIP tickets. I mean, real, honest regrets.

I let that beer sit for like 6 months (or longer, can't remember exactly when it was released) and it was AMAZING. I thought I read here a few other people felt the same way. I'd be willing to bet that a BA version would be pretty groin grabbingly transcendent.

I'm in the same camp. I really did not like it fresh, way too medicinal. After 4+ months, it was actually pretty damn good. I felt the same way about Fireplace bananas as well.

I bought 4 and opened one up every couple months. The last one I opened was on Superbowl and I drainpoured them all.

I popped it a month or so ago after reading the same comments. To me and both people I shared it with, it was sickening. Drain pours all around. And I rarely have trouble getting through ~6oz of any beer, even styles I don't dig.

I actually watched this last night because of this. Hadn’t seen it for like 5-6 years. The munchies scene is basically spot on from these descriptions.

Yeah maaaan. Like chocolate man. Lots of chocolate. And ooh like some rare single origin coffee too maaaan. And some vanilla. No man like two kinds of vanilla.
