Sorry, couldn’t tell you. I plucked this info from their website. That said, doubt you’d have to wait until 6 PM to buy them if cans carried over to the next day. Probably have them when they opened, but I’d be surprised if cans carry over at half a case limit and only 20 cases available. That’s only 40 people buying the limit. Good luck.

If it helps anyone, I went up for my first Foam can release today. Got there at 10:30 for 11:00 open and was 7th in line. It was a very easy release despite the fact that they are not set up well for can sales. They carry cases by hand from our back and stack them by the bar where other employees grab them and sell them at the bar. Also, they did not start doing pours until the can line was gone, which was not a big deal but also not very efficient.

No offense, but what you complained about is very minimal. They literally wait about ten minutes past 11 to start doing pours. If you’re first in line you grab your cans, keep an open tab, put cans away and go back for what you want to drink there. You can also plan to get there a little after 11 and do it all in a single transaction.

Yeah, that's why I said it was no big deal. It certainly won't stop me from going there as I love the beer and find the place very fun to be at when I am in town.

I'm at Foam now, 12 pm open, selling cans and pours all at once. Just trying to add to the conversation. Cheers!

One of the owners told me they are trying to open the outside bar 30 min prior to a release to provide pours while you wait. Good stuff

Any thoughts on this most recent release of Experimental Jet Set? It was really hard for me to get through a full 16 oz. can of it. Got a huge hope burn and thought it was really harsh overall.

did a trade for 3 or 4 Foam cans and Exp Jet Set was the only one I couldn't get on board with seemed overly bitter but not in a good way thought was just me

Anyone have an idea of how long do cans tend to last on Friday releases? I'll be rolling into town early afternoon, so I expect I'll be out of luck?

Was also considering Saturday's release before the brewer's fest, but I imagine everyone in town for the fest will have the same idea.

I'm guessing that other releases may not be a good indicator for this weekend since the Brewers Festival is going on. I would expect more people to be at both the Friday and Saturday can events.

Plus 3 different beers available this weekend which is not the norm, should also increase the crowd

Only Compact Disc was left on Friday at approx 12:45. It was obviously busier than normal this morning and hectic. Ask if Silver Dot is still available for a pour.

Stopped in just after 12pm on Saturday, and even with the beer fest they still had a few cases of The Nameless and the pilsner left. Good stuff!

I'll be making my first trip to Foam next friday the 7th and looking for some info.

I'll likely be getting there around 2ish. Should I expect a busy taproom on friday afternoon?

    What's the parking situation like?

Do cans roll over from the previous weekend? The beers being released the week before are: Bonus Track 11, The Fruit That Ate Itself, ...Like Clockwork.

Any chance I might luck out and be able to take a HoF bottle home?

    Thanks

Shouldn't be too bad at 2 on a Friday. Post memorial day, it does pick up, especially if it's a nice day.

There is plenty if parking there.

This time of year, I'd expect that cans do not last from the previous week.

They haven't announced a HOF release. Typically they've been doing the releases around events in town, Holidays, etc. Its unlikely, but who knows.

Bonus Track 11 has an outside chance of lasting a week because it’s not going to be a Haze Bro Beer.

I really hope you're right. That beer sounds like a good one to stock up on with summer heat right around the corner.

Sounds similar to Aslin's There Gose the Diet with the exception of lemon instead of lime

Anyone ever attended past Funk on the Water events? Would you recommend ?

The 2017 Funk on the Water was too crowded for their small venue. They reached capacity quickly and people were forced to wait in line to enter the event. In 2018 they went to a ticketed system and I thought it was great. The right amount of people were let into the venue and there was never a wait for pours. The event was catered in addition to having food vendors on-site. This year it doesn't look like there will be catered food, just on-site vendors. The 2018 event was split into two sessions, this year it's all one session. Hopefully they get the amount of tickets right again and the venue isn't too crowded, but otherwise I would recommend the event based on my experience at last year's event and the list of breweries coming this year.
