No Longer a Society Member?! Don't Panic.

If you were a Respect Beer Society member, but suddenly find that you're not...don't panic. As mentioned in recent updates, we have some old forum add-ons that are failing or no longer supported. We do plan on upgrade our forum as soon as possible, but in the meantime need to pull old add-ons to reduce issues.

Unfortunately, one of these add-ons handled signing up for our Society. Disabling it resulted in auto-renewals failing and memberships expiring on fail. To fix this, simply sign up again.

For now, please note that this is a one-year membership that doesn't auto-renew.

If you do see a charge without being tagged as a Society member or run into any other issues, please drop me a direct message and I'll work with you on sorting it out.

Correct. Not ideal, but I'm trying to keep things simple until a better solution is applied.

 

I'm noticing this problem, too. Despite the add-on developer's assurance that auto-renewals will fail once the add-on is removed, this isn't always the case.

I reversed this charge and canceled your subscription.

No. See the update in the Society forum, which is about to be emailed to everyone.

 

Nope. You'll be upgraded to Society and it'll end a year later.

 

Update: I just completed manually adding recently failed transactions. So if you made a payment within the last 10 days or so and lost your Society tag, it should be back now and apply until your Society membership is scheduled to expire.
