You likely don’t need to attend the release to get bottles. It hit local distribution last year and is still sitting on shelves at over $20 per bottle. SLL had 4 types of it last time I was in there. For what it's worth, someone gave me a double barrel variant last year and I ended up drain pouring it. It was horrendous.

We were only at the release in 2016 & it was busy but not crazy.

I'll second @Grave252. I've had a couple of different years out of bottles & they've ranged from bad to just fine. Not worth the premium price IMHO, or the crapshoot that you'll get bunky swill. But I might give it a go on tap this year. Because the brewery does make some good stuff & I keep hoping they'll get the Gravity Well series right.

Zipp's is pretty flush with everything right now - DSDB $23.99, CBS $5.99 singles or $23.99/4, 2019 CW BBA Stout and Rye Barrel Stout (can't remember price but plentiful amounts), still some Spirit Foul, also a couple big bottles of Quetsche Tilquin.

Honestly, don’t waste your time tomorrow. If you really insist, I’d recommend showing up later and trying something you want and gauging afterwards. They’ve got a long, long way to go with their stouts. They just weren’t good.

Since I haven't had any of these series of beers, I didn't really expect anything. Just conversing.

Perhaps there is a bit of homer effect in those ratings?

My personal opinion is that is exactly what's going on. They brew sub-par stouts, and barrel aging has not helped.

Yeah, I'd agree that their gravity well series is pretty mediocre. Which describes the rest of their line up as well.

IIRC they sent the remainder of unsold gravity variants to various stores last year so I doubt they'd sell out this year.

Agree with most in stating the gravity well stouts have been sub par each of the past 3 years. The scotch variant from last year has to be one of the worst beers I've ever had. The event is a good time, but the bottles aren't worth the price IMO.

I might be seeing it wrong, but it appears that Total Domination has 4 packs of 12oz bottles in at the Bloomington store... for $8.99? Listed on their website.

I see it on their app for $11.99/4-pack (in Woodbury). I can have it delivered to me for an extra $8.99

They changed it, I'm seeing $11.99/4 pack at three different metro stores now.

Nice price on it. I do miss the High Westified though, I preferred that one quite a bit more.

They had it under last year's bomber prices by accident. Did order one online at that price
