Miracle on Ice 40th Anniversary Beer

    The Russians vs USA hockey 1980...USA defeats the Russians...
    The Anniversary was this past weekend, and I saw a quick snapshot of a beer celebrating the event....

    Does anyone have any details?
    I can not find....

    I don't believe any such beer exists (a beer brewed especially to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the "Miracle On Ice"). If it did we would have heard of it on this site at some point and/or you'd be able to find it on Google. It exists in neither place.

    Maybe you saw a pic of someone raising a beer to toast the 40th anniversary of the greatest sporting moment of the 20th century?

    sounds like some Budweiser shit. The last few of their special releases had themes like the Repeal of Prohibition. George Washington's Recipe or The Moon Landing Anniversary

    The CHS Field was the site of the Greatest Day Celebration, I found a number, and have a call out to inquire to see if these folks have any info.....

    I had some that day at CHS, so it does exist. And they were selling it in St Paul bars.

    Thank you!!! I was given the contact name for CHS and left a message, but have yet to hear back. There was a commemorative can, yes? What type of beer was it? Do you know who made it?

    Update: I heard back from contact at CHS field. They are inquiring to their caterer for further information. Maybe Lift Bridge? brewed it, unsure...Sent Lift Bridge a message too......
