Add a link to your Untappd account

    ICYMI: BeerAdvocate and Untappd have joined forces, and in the FAQ I mentioned that you can add a link to your Untappd account on your BeerAdvocate profile page.

    Simply...
    1. Go to Contact Details under Your Account
    2. Enter your Untappd username in the provided field
    3. Save changes
    This doesn't create an account or sync anything. It simply adds a link for those who want it. You can also add links for your Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, too.

    I still haven't been able to get into my Untappd account. I click on forgot my password, it states that an email has been sent but I never get an email.....suggestions?

    Any plans to sync ratings? I'd like to have all my data on UT, but no way I am going to check in 4,700 beers.

    I'd like to have all my UT data on BA, but no way I am going to check in 9,900 beers!

    Seriously though... A sync in the future would be super awesome. BA is my home and always will be, but UT is for the convenience-focused data nerd in me.

    What I've started trying out is to write up a short review on Untappd for new beer checkins, which usually takes up the full 255 character limit; and then around the end of each month I'll grab a beer and start copy-pasting everything into BA reviews- immediately meeting the 150 character limit.

    I figure it's a decent compromise between writing full reviews on BA which require both of my kids to be asleep and me to be at a computer, versus a simple 5-point scale checkin on Untappd. We'll see how long I keep this up..

    I think I will keep my lists only here (beers + gots(bought but not rated yet) + wants(no photo yet). Though Untappd seems to be a great resource for domestic beers for example, now and then you need feedback from people drinking the exact same thing...
