Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2020

Total wine Bloomington had tons of regular Bourbon County and about 20 -25 bottles of the Mon Cheri this afternoon. $25 for the Mon Cheri

 

SLL has TG DDH Sue and FS&M 02/28,02/26 CO,if interested. Also had BA Darkness if anyone is looking.

 

Maybe I'm behind, but I saw DC Brau On the Wings of Armageddon on the shelves of Blue Max for the first time this afternoon (the Amarillo version) & it's bloody fantastic. They also have 5/6 Hellboy series from Gigantic for those who like such things.

 

Anyone know where I might find some Breakfast Budz? SW Mpls area preferred.

 

DC Brau, are you sure? On the Wings of Armageddon is only made with Falconers Flight hops. And only distributed to DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

 

I've been out of town for the past few weeks and was hoping I wouldn't miss out. Hit it up the Cub Liquor off White Bear/694. Normally they have the same boring selection but they still had a case sitting on the shelf. Thanks for the heads up!

DC Brau is here on a distributor program that allows for a one time drop of two skus with a very limited number of cases coming into the market. So this was a one and done drop, which is too bad, because the beer is a great West Coast IPA throwback.

 

Not the best time to be out hunting beers but anyone seen Prairie Stuf’t or weekend around? Thought I saw it on social media but can’t find now.

Picked up DDH Dunley tonight. I regularly get hazy/NEIPA fatigue because so many of them end up tasting the same, but I was very impressed with the Aslin. Really unique on the nose with a great flavor profile. It was $21 for the 4 pack which is certainly steep, but I don't regret it. Happy to see a quality brewery like Aslin get a little shelf space in MN.

 

I saw a couple of the Aslins at France 44 this weekend, but I would be interested in seeing who else might have the others that were sold out. Any recent leads on stores that still have Orange/Dunley/Sexy?

 

Minnehaha Lake still had a cooler with full rows of Orange and Dunley this evening.
I picked up a pack of Dunley and agree with Grave252. I'm not disappointed at all with the purchase.
Their appearance here is awfully timely as I had a trip to the east coast planned which has been postponed for obvious reasons.
