    Man I love this beer! Dank, grapefruit rind, high IBU, a bit harsh and super dry. This style is slowly receding from the IPA world so when it comes around I’m game!!

    I’m trying to remember the last time this was bottled - 2018?

    NEW BEER UP!

    The Ooze is a Milkshake IPA brewed with lactose, vanilla, matcha and pineapple. Very cloudy and lime green in color, this beer smells like tropical pineapple, grapefruit, guava, and green tea. Leading with a tropical blast of fruit during the initial sip, the tea shines next with a slight earthiness. Medium bodied, with a simultaneously creamy and juicy mouthfeel, The Ooze finishes smooth.



    6.8% ABV
    60 IBU

    Posted to Short's Facebook page. This is the second release to skip over Anni 16, so it seems to me they're gonna skip it for sure until the party.

    Haha I hated that game and Ultra for making it, but they also published Metal Gear so it evened out for me. Congrats on making it past the goddam water level!

    Hey hey, Short's lovin BAs! Short's has opened up the shipping options:


    - Available only in the Northern Michigan and Metro Detroit areas of Michigan (Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Oakland and Wayne counties)
    - 21+ Valid ID must be provided at time of delivery. You do not need to be there to collect your beer, as long as someone 21+ is at the address with a valid ID.
    - More dates and counties may be added in the future based on demand.
    - Please provide a physical delivery address for the shipping address - no PO Boxes. This doesn't apply to the billing address.
    - You cannot add merchandise to your beer delivery order. At this time, we can only home deliver beer and then ship merchandise separately.

    - Antrim, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska Counties: If order is placed by 11:59pm, deliveries will occur the next day between noon and 8pm. You will be contacted after order is placed with exact time frame.

    - Charlevoix, Emmet, Leelanau, Oakland, Wayne and Wexford Counties: Orders placed by Wednesday at 6pm will be delivered that weekend (Friday - Sunday). We will be in touch with you individually by Thursday with a proposed delivery date and time frame.

    All that's left now is for Short's to start shipping bombers/crowlers of brews on tap at the pub and life would be sweet.

    Unfortunately their crowler machine is no more. When I was there in January they said they are now only doing growlers at the pub and gave us free plastic growlers, so that was nice.

    Got another shipment from Short's today and 3 things to take away:

    1. Keep doing this so I can keep getting them private staches that I can normally only get in January/August when Im up there.
    2. I need Lil'Huma in it's own package. Maybe the perfect beer to kick off a 4pk pint can session series?
    3. The fiance would like 12pks of Soft Parade seltzer year round to replace her White Claw berries that now take up almost 25% of my beer fridge.
