    As promised - one more.

    Confluence Brewing - 1343 - 9.7% ABV.
This is one hell of a dank IPA. The hops just kick you in the butt, and keep kicking hard. It's also very fresh, with a can date of 11-19-2020.

    This is amazing.

Pours a very dank, dark golden color. 2 finger fluffy white head. Head retention is damn good. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is - HOLY CRAP! This is damn dank. So full of citrus. Tons of mango here. I get pineapple as well.
Taste - Mango is crazy in the flavor here as well. Some pineapple, more on the backside.
Sticky as hell. Thick. Creamy. Soft.
Jeez, this just hit my taste buds and didn't let go.

I think this is it for tonight. See you all next weekend.

Fox Farm 2018 - Annata, splitting the bottle with someone else.

nose: acrid, almost lemom-lime notes with some berry in the back ground but its not up front

color: I suck at pictures but I took like 5-6 with and without flash and this is the most accurate representation
of the color. Not quite as dark as wine, a dark plum perhaps? It is completely opaque.

taste: Well this is awesome. At first I was hit with a bit of vinegar and thought it wasn't going to be that great but then all the rest of the flavors come out. The words I want use to describe the tastes are numerous, it has flavors/funk/sour going on in here I've only ever tasted in weed. and I swear there is this weird pixie stix thing going on. This one of the the crazier beers I had

As it warms it seems to be getting a bit less funky

    small head with little retention

I'm gonna get off her and enjoy this beer while we figure out how to rate it

Yeah, it's right up there with the classic stouts. I think I'm going to start revisiting a bunch of them.

Julias Echter , a hefe from Wurzburger Hofbrau.
(Maybe it'll protect me from witchcraft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_Echter_von_Mespelbrunn )
Short version : a basic, standard thing, well-done . Nice balance between the various elements.I'd like to have this again, especially on a hot summer day.
L : Cloudy orangey-gold, with two fingers of creamy white head, that leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Mostly bread dough, with some banana, and slight bubblegum and orange marmalade .Some slight coriander + black pepper spiciness, as the head fades .
T: Taste is fresh white bread, slightly tangy orange zest, slight overripe banana , with light spiciness on the latter half. Light , slightly astringent, drying bitterness shows up in the middle, gains strength towards the end, and lingers awhile past it.
F: Feel is medium, smooth, with moderate, soft carbonation bite towards the end.

no idea what to expect as the only wheat beer I am very familiar with is Bell’s Oberon but this one was flat out tasty. I don’t think I ever caught any peach in aroma or taste, but the taste belied the 10% abv- it was very drinkable, almost too much so. I could get quite plastered with no effort drinking these.

Pretty pumped because the Gmen played their best game in like 4 years. And that was without DJ our starting QB. D smothered a team that averaged 31 points per game. Its been too long...
Next up KCBC Candy Bomber DIPA.
    Galaxy and TR12304CR hops.
Pours a burnished orange hazy gold with decent head retention nice spotty lacing.
Aroma is passionfruit, fresh squeezed orange, skunk weed, apricot, not a huge aroma.
Taste Im getting the passionfruit, orange, some light tobacco, peach, solid malt base. After doing some research on "that hop" I do notice some notes of honey, burnt caramel but not a sweetness more of the body and fullness if that makes sense.
Feel is medium, not sweet, slightly sticky yet dries and astringency on the finish with some green. No hint of 8% ABV.
I think another week in the can will do this good. Not alot of candy but a good beer. Will drink another as my first beer again soon.
    Cheers.[IMG]

Before you bust balls look at the rest of the league. There are no world beaters except for a couple of teams. Im not bragging like all the NE fans never stop doing Im just happy my team is finally headed in the right direction.

Seattle is a damn good win - better than anything else the rest of the NFC East has produced this year. Sometimes the JV division can beat a varsity team, only wish Pittsburgh lost their first a few weeks ago, though for purely historic and personal reasons

No I forgot about that. I was thinking you were a Bears fan. Well weve been whipped by the birds for quite awhile so Im not feeling sorry for you. However with the talent you have Im surprised you cant win. I. Not a big Pedersen fan...or Wentz for that matter. Your O line is garbage I think thats your biggest issue.

Calling the Eagles o-line garbage is an understatement! I will say that issue is more fixable than receiver issue the Eagles have, at least the o-line could improve once people get health but that won’t change the fact that the number of real passing threats aren’t there. Even with Ertz back it seemed the Packers defense had very little issue covering everyone.
