Doesn't look like anyone has revived this thread from last year, but there is a lot of new stuff going on in Anaheim.

As announced over in the thread for Radiant Beer Co. (Radiant Beer Co. (2021) | Community | BeerAdvocate) they are having their Grand Opening this weekend.

Also this weekend, Dueling Ducks Brewing (www.duelingducksbrewing.com) is having their Grand Opening. They are right across the street from Brewery X. I met the son (Daniel) a few years back at an event when he was in the very early stages of planning. Glad to see that he and his dad got their project off the ground!

Green Cheek is a MUST!!! Best brewery in Orange County IMO (just an fyi, you'll need to purchase a food item to order beers - CA "law")

When I left Anaheim in 1980, there were no breweries. :slight_frown:

I would say Bottle Logic, Bruery, and Green Cheek will have everything you would need. 3 of my favorites in Orange County. Modern Times is a good one but as a local I'm at Green Cheek, Bruery, and Bottle Logic much more. If you could do all 4 though, all 4 have great beers. Most Brewery's require you to order food, Bottle Logic, Bruery, and Green cheek usually have food trucks and Modern Times has their vegan menu which is usually pretty good.

Vote goes to Bruery and Green Cheek if you have to pick 2.

My vote goes to MT LeisureWorld for the ambiance. The food is pretty darn good too for vegan. And yes it’s a little bit on the pricier side. But it’s worth the stop to check them out. Oh, and the beer is good too. But I like Green Cheeky beers better. But that’s me. Actually I think the GC food is better than MT’s. Oh hell, both places are good enough for a visit. Have fun.

I'd do Green Cheek and at least one of Modern Times or Bottle Logic

Bumping this thread. Haven't taken too many trips down to Anaheim from LA during the pandemic but looks like a few new breweries have popped up and was wondering if any of them were worth a visit whenever I drive down to drink at the usual suspects (Bottle Logic, Green Cheek, ect.). The OP mentions Dueling Ducks, has anyone been? I've been impressed with the cans I've had from Radiant and need to visit the taproom. Anyone had stuff from Broken Timbers Brewing or Brewheim?

I haven’t heard anything about it NOT happening, probably just slowed due to the continuing Covid situation.

I'd stick with Bottle Logic, Green Cheek, Bruery, and Radiant. Radiant has been making some great stuff.

Broken timber’s is an easy pass. I know it’s around BL and I’ve been there 3 times because people want to just try it. They’re not just not good.

Brewheim is a local watering hole that services the community they’re in. I used to live in that community and people who drink there, and I know this is going to sound presumptuous, are people who think they’re drinking craft beers without knowing what craft beer is. They’re ok at best.

A week or two ago, over the monkish thread, a commenter stated that someone at monkish had said that they won’t be opening up anytime soon. I forget what reason they cited and a couple of other commenters stated the same. Take that with a grain of salt.
