Radiant Beer Co. was announced late last year by Jonas Nemura, Andrew Bell, and Cambria Griffith. The three previously worked together at The Bruery. They are taking over the old Towne Park space in Anaheim. More details here: https://thefullpint.com/beer-news/the-bruery-alumni-launch-new-brewery-in-anaheim/

And in case you were looking to try their beers, they are having their first curbside can release this weekend!

    https://commerce.arryved.com/location/BJYgkLbV

    From their newsletter email:

Becoming More Real - Hazy IPA
Our first release has all the features we've come to love in a hazy IPA - a smooth and satisfying mouthfeel and soft, tropical fruit-forward notes of peach, coconut and guava with a citrus balance thanks to Citra, Mosaic, and Cashmere hops.
    $16.99 / 4pk 16oz cans

    Blank Slate - Witbier
We're appealing to all the senses with this wheat beer brewed with citrus peels and our super special spice blend that incorporates coriander, chamomile, and other secrets for a subtle twist on an approachable style.
    $13.99 / 4pk 16oz cans

Parallel Path - West Coast IPA
Our first west coast IPA is led by Simcoe hops and features Mosaic and farm-sourced Motueka from New Zealand, for a refreshing and dry IPA with notes of lime zest, papaya, orange sherbet, and a bright, grassy dankness.
    $15.99 / 4pk 16oz cans

Yes I’m curious too. Are these the guys who started the Bruery’s Offshoot IPA’s?

Hey @AndyBrewsBeer, thanks for starting the thread! This is Jonas, one of the founders of Radiant Beer Co. We're super excited to be getting some cans out to folks after many months of planning, construction and leaping the regulatory hurdles. I genuinely couldn't be happier with the three cans we "soft" launched today. Thanks to everyone who purchased so far, we'll be doing the same thing tomorrow if you didn't get a chance today; check out the online ordering link Andy posted or just stop by to pickup some cans. More sales options like local delivery and CA shipping, and of course more beer, will be coming in the very near future.

@dcgunman, Andrew, Cambria & I were all at The Bruery during the development and launch of Offshoot and were heavily involved in all aspects of its creation. We're all proud of our Bruery lineage and what we helped to create there (and elsewhere); with Radiant Beer Co. we hope to build off our experience to create beers worthy of seeking out, while following our own vision.

@AndyBrewsBeer: You forgot the most important link. The link to BA! (I added it to your post.)

@ishotjr42: I just added the three beers that you soft launched. Looks like you've got access to update. And congrats! Hope to try your beers one day.

Hello Jonas. Thank you for joining in this thread. I and a lot of others here remember the Offshoot thread. It wasn’t all that pretty. I will admit that I wasn’t that impressed with most of the Offshoot cans at the beginning. I haven’t had any Offshoot cans in a very long time. There were some that were good to pretty good in the 8 or 9 months I stuck with Offshoot. That said, I am looking forward to a visit to Radiant to try some of your new beers. It’s always nice to see a new brewery in OC. See you guys soon. Cheers.

@dcgunman, I certainly remember the Offshoot thread and early days as well (and who can forget such classics as, "Which barrel-aged release is infected now?" circa 2013-14...believe me, I lived and breathed The Bruery for just shy of 10 years and felt every one of those mis-steps in my soul). With Offshoot, I would 100% agree that there were a number of misses and learning experiences that came from those early days. I think a number of factors were at play, including a very compressed timeframe to launch, yeast strain experimentation, less than ideal hops and just plain inexperience with the style (still relatively new in SoCal at that point). A lot of learning took place in the years since, and I'd highly recommend you give them another shot; Relax and Retreat, in particular, are two of the most solid examples of their styles out there IMO, especially for price & availability.

We're fortunate to have benefited from that experience and the relationships built over time, and I'm frankly amazed that we were able to create a beer like Becoming More Real as our first hazy release; we're very lucky to have received some amazing hops from friends who are able to select lots and even some farm-direct stuff from the US & NZ.

I also want to be clear that we're approaching our beers and business from a different perspective; we're not looking to be The Bruery/Offshoot v2.0, despite the many connections. I hope you can sample our efforts soon, and look forward to hearing your honest feedback.

Just tried their WC IPA, and their Hazy. Bought a nice glass they have as well. The WC was very tasty. Ton of citrus, nice bitterness with some pine and a some tropical flavors. The hazy wasnt bad but wouldn't buy it again, would defiantly buy the wc again. As with any new brewery you never know what to expect but I'm happy I tried these and will continue to support.

Thank you @ishotjr42 for replying. Actually the last time I had any Offshoot was the Relax and Retreat. And both were good. But that was probably over 2 years ago now. There’s just so many choices these days with shipping and delivery options and all the great local breweries in OC/LA area to choose from. And at the moment my beer fridge is full of cans and some more coming this Wednesday from Kern River. But I will definitely hit up your Radiant sooner than later. I can’t wait till we are able to sit inside tasting rooms and relax and enjoy the beers and atmosphere. That’s how I get my feel for a brewery.

@dcgunman , I feel you there...we're all waiting for things to get opened again. Definitely hinders the ability to introduce our beers & brand to a new audience :beers:

Looks like Radiant just released 3 more cans for this week. That Track Is A Groove (west coast w/Citra/Nelson/Mosaic), This Is Happening (hazyDIPA w/Mosaic/Strata/Amarillo) and Recommision (Lagar) along with the 3 releases from first release. Off to a good start. They don’t deliver to my area code. Have a bud who’s going to hit them later today. Gonna split a couple of 4pks. Give them a shot. FYI online they have a special buy the 3 newest can release and a tulip glass for $50. Limited to the first 25 orders. Not a bad deal. But first I’ll have to taste some of them cans before I go that route. Cheers.

Just got their 50 dollar special. Tried all three new cans. All were very tasty. Pretty impressive for a new brewery to come out of the gate with this quality. Can’t beat it for the quality and price. Cheers to some more good beer in Orange County.

I’ve only had the West Coast (and loved it). Then when I went to get more at my local spot (Bradley’s in Tustin), they were sold out.

Well, they've only been releasing beers for a couple of weeks, so you're probably pretty safe.

I like to see dates on the cans/bottles myself. But like @Miruguy sayz the Radiant cans are like a couple of weeks. I believe Windsor has their first can release. I got their 2nd week release cans so even a week fresher. And pretty damn good for a brand new brewery. I hope they do put canning dates on the cans soon.
