Whoops! The hours I posed above are just for the kitchen. Last call is 90 minutes after the kitchen closes.

Had a pour of this years Blunderbuss at the brewery a few days ago. Delicious. Bottles being released in February. The winter gruit was good too.

I liked the gruit too! Also, the 100% Brett IPA was really good. The bartender said that it's mellowed a lot over the 3-4 months they've had it.

Anyone going to Barleywine Fest tonight? I'll probably go near the start to get in and out.

Wonder if they'll do it tomorrow too with the snow.

I could honestly see them closing tomorrow but they said they're going to have the beers available until they kick and maybe the food specials too(?). I doubt they kick tonight so they'll still be available. Trying to go today to avoid having to go out during or in the slop post-storm.

Their post says the mini-fest is running all weekend. If they are open tomorrow and if the Red line is running, I'll be gearing up, strapping on my snowshoes and heading over there for sure!

I may do the same. Storm should be winding down by the evening.

And I'm not driving, so I don't see the issue.

    The 2013 was my favorite.

Well, poop. Hopefully Olde Magoun's will open their doors today. Gotta have my blizzard beers!

WIsh I could make it out for this. Not an option at the moment, because of other obligations, not to mention just outside the quarantine period for the plague of the decade. As much as I want to go, and as mild as it was for me, I don't want to potentially expose anyone else to this thing.

PJ Ryan’s is open too. That’s closer for me, so I’m a bit biased.

Oh I want to try the winter gruit. Is there a name on that? Is it in distro or brewery only?

Made it to Magoun’s and back, dodging plow trucks and snowshoers the whole way. Mayflower Porter on cask and a Rothaus Pils we’re a nice way to warm up after we shook off the snow. Cheers!

I made it out today for the blizzard interrupted barleywine festival. Arrived just a little after CBC opened for brunch and had the whole place to myself until noon. 8 different options available. I'm still a big fan of Arquebus, especially the 2016 Tokaji version, but the new 2022 Blunderbuss is tasting just fine too.

And I'm a big fan of CBC holding the line on beer prices. Vintage barrel aged barley wine for less than $1/oz is an incredible value these days!

I was there too from about 12 to 12:45ish! Were you at the bar?

Had the 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2022. Delicious! Especially dug the 2012 and 2013 (thanks for the recommendation @Sheppard).
