Jester King is one of the more beautiful "tap rooms" I've ever been to.

 

I believe CBC said they were going to open back up this week after their January nap. Is tomorrow the day?

 

They just tweeted that they're still prepping to reopen and haven't settled on a reopening date. Good news that they're actually planing to reopen.

 

From the Facebook today:

Hi friends! We're very happy to announce that we are prepping for our reopening! Our current plan is to reopen for dinner service on Thursday, February 18th at 4pm. Moving forward, our kitchen hours will be as follows:
- Tues-Thurs: 11:30am-9pm (lunch & dinner)
- Fri: 11:30am-10pm (lunch and dinner)
- Sat: 11:00am-10pm (brunch and dinner)
- Sun: 11:00am-4pm (brunch only)
- Mon: closed
Rest assured we will continue to follow all safety regulations and distancing measure to ensure a happy, healthy, and safe environment for all of you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We can't wait to see you!

 

Reopening tomorrow. Interested to see what new beers will be available.

 

I'm also interested to see if they'll have the heated tent open again. It was one of the better outdoor set ups in the fall.

 

Oh the great pumpkin festival.

They hold it in late October and half of it is outside.

I think there’s a very good chance they’ll have it like it was normal times.

Scanning all the social mediums leads me to believe the heated tent is indeed open.

 

Was there on Saturday. Can confirm, it was open and heated. I booked a patio table on their reservation system. Although, the heaters were set a little lower than I remembered. They were down right raging in the fall when I was there last.

 

Yeah it was super warm in the fall.

Do they have the tent set up too? How warm was it?

The toasted red lager they have on draft right now is very good. I was hoping they would bust out some cool stuff when they reopened and the 2014 Arquebus did not disappoint.

Another update. Extending the temporary closure a full week.

“To our friends: Unfortunately one of our staff members has tested positive for Covid. Out of an abundance of caution we will be closed ALL week, & will reopen Tues, 3/30. We will deep clean and get all of our team members tested. We hope to see you soon!”
