Thanks! That glass is 10 years old this year. It has some hard water stains, but it remains my favorite vessel to drink out of. Especially these days, when so many beers come in 16 oz cans.

    Cheers! :sunglasses:

Now more than ever, Americans need to find some common ground. Meet me in the middle? I'm doing my part tonight.

First time trying this one, and it's amazing. Nice layers of coffee, roasted malts, charred wood, tobacco, vanilla, and a bit of coconut. Thick and creamy mouthfeel.

I love stouts and porters with some funk. Blackened Skies imperial stout from a Jester King- Weathered Souls collaboration fills the bill. Love the Jester King coolships!

Trillium's IPAs have fallen off, but they still make a damn good stout

Well, people are participating and they have no issues giving Likes to others. Instead of just making bragging/edgy/obnoxious/vulgar/judgmental posts, without giving any Likes to others. And it doesn't matter what we all like to drink, at least we drink out of glasses and cups. Not straight from a can/bottle. How the hell can you truly appreciate an Imperial Stout, when it's consumed that way?!

I was going to do a Barleywine today, picked a couple up but I don't see that many, anyways, today we're doing Chocolate Malty Balls, a barrel aged aged Russian Russian Imperial Stout from a local, Tighthead Brewing in Mundelein. That being said,

    Canned 2/22/21
Pours a thick, oily almost black with a small light brown head that fades quickly, spotty lacing.
Chocolate, coffee, bourbon, vanilla and some coconut, flavors match the aroma.
    Thick'n chewy, minimal carbonation.
A very pleasant surprise, from another local brewer!

They missed a good opportunity to use some rum barrels there...

That bo and Luke was straight from the can. I appreciated the hell out of it.

I just realized that " at least we drink out of glasses and cups not bottle... how the hell can you truly appreciate yadda yadda..." was aimed at me.

I assure you, i don't need a stupid ass glass to appreciate beers ive drank the weight of the world in before and only a moron would walk around or be in a car ( passenger)with a glass :joy:

This is the first time I've heard of Tighthead Brewing. As a fellow rugger I approve! My homebrews have the moniker of "Second Row Brewing", as that's been my primary position.
