    Incredibly flavorful table beer. I would have never guessed it to be just 2.9% ABV.

    Enjoying my first brew from Zillicoah, an Asheville brewer. This is a Brett based Saison weighing in at 3.9%. Totally impressed with the flavor from the Brett and the Strata and Mosaic hopping; rated it a 4.42.

    look: 4.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75
    Deep dark amber pouring beer. Fairly clear, though hard to see through due to it being so dark colored. The head is off white, and 2 finger. The bubbles are quite small. The head retention is quite good, and there's some lacing on the glass.
    Nose is light. There's a faint hint of malt, and a slight hint of nuts.
    Taste - There's not a lot going on in the flavor right away. I do get a roasted nut flavor that comes in right away. I also get a slight roasted malt flavor up front. The backside is where some bitterness comes into this beer.
    Smooth body, the feeling of the bitterness lingers in my palate.
    Interesting beer overall, and a pleasure to try.

    Great to see Magnanimous and Green Bench making their way up there. Magnanimous also roasts and brews coffee so they open the taproom at 0700 everyday, very handy.....cheers!

    Found a few cans of Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier in my cellar (~2y old, BB March 10, 2021) :grimacing:

    I don't taste or feel any differences to a fresh one. Still my least favorite Oktoberfest :/

    I'm familiar with Green Bench but had not head of Magnanimous. Checked them out on the web. Looks like my kind of brewery. I think that is really awesome that Bold Monk will put other breweries on tap here. Great exposure for those breweries.
