Has anyone heard of any updates regarding their arrival in our state?

Hopefully soon...loooooove Unearthly, and most everything else...Texas is really making headway with all of these breweries entering our great state!

I hope so as well. I sent them an email and hope to hear something. I've had a couple of their beers and they were all pretty solid. Only 1 I didn't care for was Gemini. Can't wait to try their stouts and barleywine and of course Pumking.

I received a return email from ST and they are expanding into any new markets this and have no plans for expansion at this time. :slight_frown:

I was talkin' with the bartender at Whip In yesterday and he said the distributor (I believe BEK?) said April.

Now we can all join in on the Pumking complaining next year!

2013 is lookin' up in Austin!

2013 is looking to be an epic year in new distribution to Tx. Well, at least for you northern Texans! Save some of that Parabola and Sucuba for next years Karbach releases and lets work out some trades.

    Edit...you can keep Pumking.

I've been doing trades with other Houston BAers for Karbach stuff if you ever need something that doesn't make its' way down there or is in short demand. Just LMK.

I'm going to be buying... the shit... out of Firestone Walker in particular

I just hope kegs of Barrel Aged Backburner hit Houston. That beer is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Soooo good!

It should be first quarter 2013. If you have had any of their bottles of late you will see they have already changed their labels to say "ale on tx" so their label approvals should go smoothly

So I finally get to have somewhat fresh Pumking? Oh happy days!

I've been wanting to try the Creme Brulee Stout! I'm excited! :grinning:

1 sip and you are done. This beer is the most cloyingly sweet beer ever. It tastes like what it says, but you will be amazed how obnoxious it is.

Java, Mocha, Oat, and Choklat are all far superior.

This has been like this for a while now. They had plans to expand here before but moved back due to demand in their Current markets

Had my parents bring some 2XIPA and Unearthly when they came in town a month ago. Not really a fan. Both seemed very thin to me.

I wouldn't judge them based on IPAs. Their stouts, Pumpking, and Backburner are the bread and butter.

    Delicious bread and butter too.

    Backburner was damn good!
