I was also Group A but went in during Group C & received this same bag

 

A went in for E. All 3 of my Group received Handjee, Rrari, and Thunderstorm. We quickly traded exiting the building for the full 6. Kept all of the Thunderstorms.

 

Good news he reduced the price to $500. Memorial Day deals!

 

I wonder at what "price point" would our favorite beer baron to just drink it. Like, would he drop it all the way to $100 & still want to sell it? Or at that price would he just share with friends like a regular human being?

Seems like even with all the numbers/bottle counts, Naturally Upset has by far and and away fewest check-ins on Untappd and none on Beer Advocate. Anyone here have it? Thoughts? I never saw it on draft at DLD, which was a bummer, and I desperately want to open it but don’t necessarily feel like solo doming it (at the moment).

 

Same here. I had hoped to try it on draft, but never saw it either. Maybe putting My Rod, My Comfort was the consolation prize there. I decided to look Naturally up a few days ago to see what people are saying and got the same outcome as you.

My group got a lot of similar bottles - especially Chemtrail and Naturally. None of us got a Handjee which is why I've been trying to swap one of those for a Handjee on here, but to no avail. I spent about 2 minutes trying to trade upon exiting the bottle pick up, but was way too deep in my cups to deal with that process.

Which reminds me, what a difference a few years makes. As soon as I exited the pick up some guy offered to sell me 2 of his bottles for $100. I laughed maniacally and told him how about I sell you all 3 of mine for $150 and walked away.

 

I had a guy on FB try to sell me 2 bottles of Raspberry. I have never bought anything secondary market, but was tempted because I can’t seem to trade for that one. After we talked meetup options, he e they were unlabeled because they were first run bottles. I LOL’d and kindly told him to fuck right off.

I actually pulled a Raspberry in my bag (I was group A and picked up at the start of group B). Traded it at DLD to @Sabtos for a Chemtrail. Raspberry on draft was my first beer of the day. It was very good. Think dark chocolate raspberry truffle or something along those lines. I just really enjoy Chemtrail, and '23 tasted excellent at DLD, so I swapped it out. Walked out of there with Sundae, Naturally, and Chemtrail. Not too shabby.

Also, first run bottles. LOL. Okay buddy. Get fuuuuuucked.

 

Doh! I would have made the trade! I was looking at off loading the Sundae (tried on draft) or Handjee (cellar has too many previous vintages) for Upset and or Raspberry.

 

Still open for Naturally or Chemtrail. I might even be able to swing IP on Tues/Wed. If you dare...

I pulled Chemtrail, Handjee and Sundae Thunderstorm. Traded Chemtrail for Raspberry at the fest and the Handjee for Raspberry the next day. Drank my Sundae Thunderstorm yesterday and it's quite good!

 

ChemTrail was so damn good this year, it was between that and Sundae for me as tops. Luckily we had a second Chem to take home. Thanks for diversifying my investmens!

This makes me sad because Naturally Upset was the only I didn't want & I was looking forward to Diamonds or Thunderstorm. Oh well it beats the hell out of the old 1 variant model
