From my POV, the "fresh ale" hooey is not something that would revitalize cask ale... it is something that would threaten it. The brewers would state the opposite of course. I wish them no luck.

I enjoyed a number of gravity poured lagers at the Logjammin’s event yesterday. I was able to have a long conversation with Brian O’Reilly (Mainstay Brewing) while enjoying the gravity poured Poplar Pils. I did not take a photo here but below is a ‘stock photo’ from the Philly German Beer Festival a few months ago. I also enjoyed the Human Robot 10° Keller Pils from a wooden barrel.
