    @TongoRad so pumped you finally made it there!!!

    The Standard is probably still my favorite beer they make on draft, but there's so many stellar beers. I particularly dig the Hefeweizen right now. I could make so many recommendations off that tap list...

    How does it compare to some of your local favorites? Also, where else did you go on your trip, still in town?

    Yesterday was the last day for fun, so I'm really happy that we squeezed it in. We did the sightseeing all day and then headed to the Brighton location. The courtyard vibe was so cool, and the food vendors seemed to fit in perfectly.

    Overall the trip was centered on Hull and hanging on the beach, so we really didn't hit any other breweries.

    I was very impressed with the Notch beers. In general, the carbonation and mouthfeel were exceptional, and the flavors are elegantly composed. I'd happily drink any of these all day long- I loved them all.

    Getting the liter of the Standard was a really good thing for me. It really developed in flavor from the first sip to the last, starting with a great maltiness with a touch of diacetyl and finishing with some great almost floral snappy hops shing through.

    Did they rebrand Session Pils? My local store just got in a Notch Czech Pils, with a never seen before label.

    Looks like it as the abv is the same. Just left my local beer store and they are still carrying the old labeled pils.

    Rauch Weiss on at Notch, both locations. Try it next to Bread and Roses (dry hopped Hef) and their regular Hefeweizen!

    Lojko back this week - wonder if they just had to dump the last batch and start over?

    Lost in the Dream and Standard also back in cans.

    A Joe Stange piece, from April, which covers Notch’s POV, while involving the history (e.g. contract brewing to the more detailed/in-house practices on tradition: recipe building, grain bill, mash regimen, “modest ABV and traditional styles,” etc….). Joe also involves the backgrounds of Chris, Anna, and July -

    @tekstr1der

    As I'm sure you know, @jonphisher told us you found fresh Notch Festbier? Where!?

    Definitely super early this year. No mention of a can release on Instagram either which is weird.

    I also saw some redesigned Salem Lager out in the wild with a similar can design. I wonder why they haven’t posted anything themselves on the new contracted lineup?

    Pretty sure I recall Chris posting on Instagram that he brewed a Marzen this week so that's in the works too.

    Yeah, Chris brewed it on Monday. 12ish weeks out...I'd expect it at the least earliest late October, but most likely in November. All the Fest this year was brewed at ZG. Might see some British beers late fall.

    Dunkelweizen on at Salem. Brighton's page hasn't been updated since 7/30, so not sure about there.
