1) Weihenstephaner Kristallweissbier (5.4%): A German Kristallweizen with flavors of grapefruit, juicyfruit, light floral notes. Yeasty, wheat, and fairly clean
versus
2) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier (5.4%): A German Hefeweizein with flavors of orange spice, clove, banana, and German bread and spices. Smooth and mildly sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
1) Kristallweissbier: Weihenstephaner Wheat Battle. First up is their Kristallweizen #1 ranked on BeerAdvocate, which is similar to a hefeweizen, but filtered so lighter and cleaner. Very good, a little bit of grapefruit, juicyfruit zest and light floral notes. Pretty clean.
Next is the Hefeweizen and also ranked #1 for the style. Similar, but more orange, bread, and wheat. Sweeter with more of the clove and banana/bubblegum notes. Hard to call a winner since two different styles, but the Kristallweizen is a great style I don't see often and impressed me.

I was wondering. I hate pickles. So, doubt I would like that. I once criticized pickle beers on Twitter and got lambasted by pickle beer fans from Texas. Lol! I had no idea there were that many fans of the beer. Lesson learned.

Hello BAs! Off and running we are. Thanks @belvedere86 for 4026. A Cold 37F yet mostly sunny day here w a light breeze. Lots of folks out doing yard work, mulching leaves and gittin' 'er done. Just did a very brisk walk with Mrs. DeWitt4brauzinskies and it was fab. I'm ready to tackle another new beer now. A devilish Weldwerks/Toppling Goliath Extra Extra Dino Bits HDIPA 9% ABV. Good gravy what a beer. Cheers! Enjoy!

Full review in New Beer Sunday #975. This is a solid traditional lager, the Lebulski hops loud and clear, everything as expecting, will pair what's left with the store bought wings finishing in the oven.
